Alice Keck Park Memorial Garden

Alice Keck Park Memorial Garden is a 4.63-acre public garden in downtown Santa Barbara, California, occupying the former site of the historic El Mirasol Hotel. Established in 1977 and often called the "crown jewel" of the city's park system, the garden features an extensive botanical collection of 75 tree and plant species, a koi pond, a sensory garden with audio posts and interpretive Braille signs, a low water use demonstration garden, walking paths, picnic areas, and a classic gazebo. The park offers a reservable event space — the Arbor Area — a lush grassy area framed by a wisteria arbor near Arrellaga Street. The Arbor Area accommodates up to 100 guests and is a popular site for wedding ceremonies. Admission to the garden is free, and the space is managed by the City of Santa Barbara Parks and Recreation Department.
