Tucked into Refugio Canyon on California's Gaviota Coast, about 20 minutes north of Santa Barbara, Circle Bar B Guest Ranch is a third-generation family-owned property spanning 1,100 acres of rugged canyon land. Founded in 1939 by Florence Brown, the ranch has hosted guests for generations amid lush creeks, mountain ridgelines, and views stretching to the Pacific Ocean and Channel Islands. For weddings and private celebrations, the ranch is available on an exclusive-use basis, accommodating up to 150 guests. The property includes the main lodge, indoor dining room, full bar, outdoor deck areas, library, and billiards room — all reserved solely for the wedding party and their guests for the duration of the event. Overnight accommodations for up to 65 guests are available across 17 cabins, cottages, and ranch rooms, allowing for a true destination-wedding weekend experience. In-house catering provides fresh California-inspired ranch cuisine for rehearsal dinners and wedding dinners, with customizable menus to accommodate dietary needs. Guided horseback rides through canyons and creeks, a pool and hot tub, hiking trails, and proximity to Santa Barbara's wine country and beaches round out the guest experience.
