Fauquier Springs Country Club sits along the Rappahannock River seven miles southwest of Warrenton, Virginia, on the site of a mineral-spring resort founded in the late 1700s by Captain Hancock Lee. Before the Civil War, the property's grand hotel, known as the Pavilion, hosted Presidents James Monroe, James Madison, and Martin Van Buren, along with Chief Justice John Marshall, in a four-story hall with a 4,000-square-foot ballroom. Today the Club pairs that history with a full slate of amenities, including a golf course, swimming pool, and dining and banquet rooms used for weddings, business meetings, and receptions. Its Grand Ballroom and Springs Room both open onto an outdoor terrace overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains, and couples can exchange vows at the Hilltop Gazebo, a replica of the original gazebo that stood on the grounds since the early 1800s. Membership is not required to book an event at the Club, and its in-house catering team provides food and beverage service for every gathering.
