Friedman Farms

Friedman Farms is a rustic barn wedding and event venue in Dallas, Pennsylvania, roughly 15 minutes from Wilkes-Barre and centrally positioned between Philadelphia and New York City. Operating since 2006, it describes itself as the original barn wedding venue in Northeast Pennsylvania. The property spans more than 150 acres of rolling fields, horse pastures, and willow trees, with a landscape-lit stream, a stone bridge, and a flagstone fireplace among its grounds. The Main Barn is a 7,600-square-foot reception space that accommodates up to 200 guests, outfitted with crystal chandeliers, climate control, and a bar. Couples can choose from three outdoor ceremony sites — a hilltop, the flagstone fireplace, and a gazebo — with an indoor loft available as a weather backup, plus a dining room and a cocktail-hour deck overlooking the grounds. Friedman Farms is part of the Friedman Hospitality Group, which also operates several area restaurants that serve as house caterers for events at the barn. The venue is pet-friendly and available for bookings Tuesday through Sunday.
