Friendship Park

Friendship Park is a 134.97-acre township-owned property operated by Orion Township Parks & Recreation in Lake Orion, Michigan — the largest park in the township's portfolio. It offers private rental spaces for a range of celebrations, including baby showers, birthday parties, bridal showers, company picnics, family reunions, graduation open houses, and weddings. Three spaces are available for rent: an indoor multi-purpose meeting room with a small kitchen that seats up to 75 guests, a covered outdoor picnic pavilion accommodating up to 75 guests at tables, and a wedding gazebo that hosts 150 to 200 guests for ceremonies and outdoor gatherings. The grounds also include the historic Howarth School House and Porritt Barn. Reservations require a minimum of 14 business days' advance notice, and a refundable security deposit is required for each rental space.
