Kingwood Center Gardens is a 47-acre historic garden estate in Mansfield, Ohio, built as the country home of industrialist Charles Kelley King. Kingwood Hall, the French Provincial-style mansion at its center, was designed by architect Clarence Mack and completed in 1926; the estate opened to the public as a garden in 1953 and today is known for its distinctive floral displays, formal gardens, woodland trails, a display greenhouse, and a resident duck pond and peacocks. For weddings and private events, Kingwood hosts everything from intimate ceremonies to grand receptions across its gardens and grounds, including gazebo ceremony sites, a bricked courtyard, and the Carriage House with its private patio. Rentals include free admission and parking for guests, white wedding chairs and tables set up and torn down by Kingwood staff, a final walkthrough and ceremony rehearsal, and audio/visual systems in select venues. Beyond weddings, Kingwood's rooms and grounds also accommodate bridal and baby showers, anniversary celebrations, rehearsal dinners, family reunions, graduation and birthday parties, and business meetings and conferences.
