Leslie Town Centre

Leslie Town Centre is a premier event venue and meeting space for Cookeville and Middle Tennessee, co-owned by the City of Cookeville and Putnam County and governed by the Public Building Authority. It sits in the historic downtown district on First Street, between the Train Depot Museum and Dogwood Park and near the Cookeville Performing Arts Center, with Cookeville centrally located on I-40 between Nashville, Knoxville, and Chattanooga. The centre offers two rental spaces suited to different scales of celebration. The Estes Williams Room is the venue's largest banquet hall, a 7,200-square-foot ground-floor space with a neutral palette, ample natural lighting, a complimentary catering kitchen, a stage, and dimmable lighting — well suited to wedding receptions, galas, conferences, and other large gatherings. The Herald-Citizen Room offers a more intimate 1,500-square-foot setting just off the elevator on the second floor, with its own kitchen for use by outside caterers, making it a fit for rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, and smaller business meetings. Complimentary amenities across the venue include onsite event support staff, room setup and breakdown, ample free on-site parking, and WiFi. Leslie Town Centre also hosts Mistletoe Market, an annual holiday shopping event running each November since 2002, and supports area nonprofits through its "Together We Care" charitable giving program.
