Maranatha Camp Conference Center

Maranatha Camp and Conference Center sits on the banks of Lake Guntersville on the Tennessee River in Scottsboro, Alabama, about 45 minutes from downtown Huntsville. Operating since 1956, the nonprofit facility has served North Alabama and beyond as a gathering place for retreats, summer camps, outdoor education, and group events. Two primary lodging and conference options accommodate a range of group sizes. The Lakeside facility offers hotel-style accommodations with 16 rooms and a 1,600-square-foot conference room that seats up to 125 guests — available year-round. The Bunkhouse Cabins campus includes four named cabins (Aspen, Birch, Cedar, and Dogwood) plus a Summer Lodge, paired with a Dining Hall that seats up to 200 guests with a commercial kitchen and a lake-view deck. A Winter Lodge meeting area accommodates smaller groups of 20–30. Outdoor activities on-site include a zip line, rock wall, and stand-up paddleboarding. The property is well-suited to church retreats, leadership meetings, family reunions, youth gatherings, and day conferences.
