Maranatha Camp and Conference Center sits on the banks of Lake Guntersville on the Tennessee River in Scottsboro, Alabama, about 45 minutes from downtown Huntsville. Operating since 1956, the nonprofit facility has served North Alabama and beyond as a gathering place for retreats, summer camps, outdoor education, and group events. Two primary lodging and conference options accommodate a range of group sizes. The Lakeside facility offers hotel-style accommodations with 16 rooms and a 1,600-square-foot conference room that seats up to 125 guests — available year-round. The Bunkhouse Cabins campus includes four named cabins (Aspen, Birch, Cedar, and Dogwood) plus a Summer Lodge, paired with a Dining Hall that seats up to 200 guests with a commercial kitchen and a lake-view deck. A Winter Lodge meeting area accommodates smaller groups of 20–30. Outdoor activities on-site include a zip line, rock wall, and stand-up paddleboarding. Hidden in the forest on the side of Lookout Mountain, Georgia, Oakleaf is tucked away enough that you could just miss it, lending the space a sense of privacy perfect for weddings. Dramatic, moss-covered rocks and dense woodlands surround our 28-acre space, which is itself surrounded by Cloudland Canyon State Park. The grounds offer a flowing layout which encompasses the cottage to stay overnight and/or get ready in, two separate outdoor ceremony sites accommodating up to 115 guests, and an upscale stable barn structure that provides a lovely indoor option for ceremonies and receptions. Our curated collection of vintage and boho glassware, plates, and other table details such as brass candlesticks and an array of votives are included, as well as wood Schoolhouse chairs and French-style X-back chairs for your reception. Handcrafted wood tables and a choice of arbors are included, and options for a month of coordinator and/or event designer are offered. In addition, Oakleaf Cottage is a green venue, working to make every wedding sustainable as well as stunning.

The Vineyard is the perfect mix of rustic, modern and elegant features for your traditional or nontraditional event. We are located just 30-minutes from south Huntsville nestled in a 16-acre landscape between Arab and Guntersville Alabama. Hampton Cove Wedding Venue is a veteran family-owned property set on 23 acres in Huntsville, Alabama, just 15 minutes from downtown and nestled below the surrounding mountain views. Established in 2012 by Carla and Greg Dorough, the venue is managed by their daughter Heather Dorough, a certified wedding planner, who oversees each event from planning through to the celebration. The property hosts ceremonies and receptions for gatherings of 50 to 200 guests across three distinct event spaces: a 4,500-square-foot air-conditioned reception hall, an outdoor Shady Grove ceremony site with natural shade coverage, and a White Barn ceremony site for inclement weather. Venue packages range from DIY to full coordination, with vendor flexibility permitted throughout. Included amenities across the property span Chiavari chairs and tables, three large chandeliers with dimmable string lights, a bar station, commercial kitchen prep area, bridal suite with private restroom, outdoor games and patio, and wheelchair-accessible restrooms.

The Monte Sano Event Lodge sits within Monte Sano State Park in Huntsville, Alabama, set on 2,140 acres of mountain terrain with spectacular vistas overlooking the bluff. The Saturn Ballroom — formerly known as North Hall and most recently renovated in 2023 — is the Von Braun Center's premier banquet and convention space. Spanning more than 23,000 square feet on the main level, the ballroom accommodates up to 1,200 guests in a banquet-style setup and can be divided into three separate areas for smaller events. Originally built in 1901 as a cotton mill and later converted into a shoe factory, the complex was reimagined as a working arts center in 2006. Ditto Landing is a full-service marina and waterfront recreational facility situated along the Tennessee River in Huntsville, Alabama, near mile marker 334. Steeped in history dating back to the early 1800s — when pioneer James Ditto established a trading post and a ferry crossing reportedly served travelers including Andrew Jackson and Davy Crockett — the property offers a scenic setting of lush greenery and mountain foothills on Huntsville's southern edge. For private events, Ditto Landing offers three open-air pavilion spaces along the waterfront. The Kingston Pavilion accommodates up to 150 guests and can be reserved as a single combined venue or split into two independent sections: Kingston Pavilion 1, a river-facing section for up to 100 guests, and Kingston Pavilion 2, a harbor-facing section for up to 50 guests.
