Mezza Luna Restaurant

Roberto Pugliese, Giovanni Marzocca, and José Marquez, whose culinary career had taken them all over the world, founded Mezzaluna Italian Restaurant over 25 years ago. They felt an instant connection to the Half Moon Bay coast because of the neighboring farmland and fishing boats parked at the nearby harbor. Mezzaluna serves southern Italian cuisine with a California twist, using only the finest meats, fish, and fruit, much of which is sourced locally. The restaurant lies 20 miles south of San Francisco, near the center of Silicon Valley, in Princeton by the Sea. PRIVATE EVENTS Thank you for thinking about Mezzaluna Italian Restaurant as a venue for your special event. We provide banquet menus to suit most budgets, preferences, and dietary requirements, as well as a full service bar with an extensive wine list ranging from Europe to Napa Valley. We offer two banquet rooms with private and shared areas available, depending on the size of your company. Our banquet halls do not have a separate price, but there are minimal charges for private spaces. A prepared banquet meal is required for any parties of 20 or more people, whether in private or shared spaces. LARGE BANQUET ROOM Low lighting, wood vaulted ceilings, and a full bar characterize our spacious banquet room (below), which can accommodate up to 120 guests as a private venue. It also has a large fireplace, a raised stage, and a hardwood dance floor. Weddings, rehearsal dinners, and business meetings are all possible in this space. SMALL BANQUET ROOM This room, which seats up to 40 people as a private space, is located in our main dining area. It boasts huge arch-framed windows with views of the Princeton bay, and it may be closed off for seclusion with a curtain. Your event will be transported to a Trattoria in Florence thanks to terra-cotta tile floors and Tuscan-themed decorations.
