Patterson Homestead is a Federal-style historic house museum in Dayton, Ohio, built in stages between 1816 and 1850 by Col. Robert Patterson — a Revolutionary War veteran, founder of Lexington, Kentucky, and grandfather of NCR founder John H. Patterson. The property, originally known as Rubicon Farm, was donated to the city of Dayton in 1953 and is now operated by Dayton History. The museum's six period rooms display 18th- and 19th-century antiques and Patterson family artifacts alongside an exhibit gallery dedicated to the history of the National Cash Register Company. For private events, the grounds feature a lush green lawn, colorful gardens, and a picturesque white gazebo suited for outdoor wedding ceremonies. A large open indoor room accommodates rehearsal dinners, small gatherings, and meetings year-round. All events at Patterson Homestead are catered exclusively by Bernstein's Fine Catering.
