Santa Barbara Sailing Center has offered private yacht charters and weddings at sea from Santa Barbara Harbor since 1967. Situated along California's American Riviera, the center operates a fleet of vessels — ranging from intimate Catalina sailboats to the 50-foot Double Dolphin sailing catamaran — so couples and groups can celebrate with the open Pacific as their backdrop. Two primary event offerings accommodate different group sizes. Private Catalina yacht charters carry up to 6 guests on vessels ranging from 27 to 50 feet, providing an intimate on-water experience for elopements and micro-weddings. The Double Dolphin catamaran accommodates up to 49 passengers and is well suited for larger ceremonies, receptions, anniversaries, and corporate gatherings. Both options depart from Santa Barbara Harbor and sail along the coastline. In-house catering is available on the Double Dolphin, with options spanning appetizer boards, sandwich platters, salads, and desserts. An onboard bar offers wine, beer, and ready-to-drink cocktails. Catalina charters allow guests to bring their own food and beverages at no additional charge.
