Starmount Forest Country Club is a private club founded in 1930 in Greensboro, North Carolina, set on a course designed by Wayne Stiles and John Van Kleek — the only course bearing their names in the state. The club hosted 16 PGA Tour events between 1938 and 1960, including the inaugural Greater Greensboro Open and the 1947 U.S. Women's Open, the first championship to use a 72-hole stroke play format. The banquet hall complex accommodates up to 300 guests for seated meals and up to 450 for cocktail-style receptions. The Ballroom anchors the complex with chandeliers, hardwood floors, 16-foot ceilings, and bay window views of the golf course. Smaller breakout rooms — The Star Room, The Benjamin Room, and The Dogwood Room — serve private dinners, meetings, luncheons, and cocktail gatherings of 10 to 50 guests. The Outdoor Terrace on 10 extends events outdoors, with a custom pergola, lounge seating, and an outdoor bar overlooking the tenth hole.
