The Narrative Loft

The Narrative Loft brings the eclectic feel of a New York City loft to the heart of downtown Santa Barbara, California. Located at 1117 State Street and accessed through the rear of the building via Chapala Street, the ground-floor venue occupies approximately 3,000 square feet of open studio space designed to accommodate celebrations, corporate events, and creative productions alike. The venue encompasses several distinct areas: a main hall with wooden floors, exposed wooden rafters, and linen-lined walls that seats up to 120 guests; a vaulted atrium with a circular dance floor and concrete surfaces backed by a second-floor observation balcony; an outdoor patio with synthetic turf, decorative planters, and overhead string lights; a lounge with banquette seating and ambient backlighting; and a prep kitchen stocked with commercial-grade equipment. Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and access to a large city parking lot are included with every event.
