- 1 space at this venue
The Queen Anne Victorian home that was built in 1899 and is known as the Ball-Eddleman-McFarland House is considered to be the most preserved of its kind in the region. This exquisite Victorian masterpiece of a little over 5,000 square feet was constructed by English architect Howard Messer for Galveston widow Mrs. George Ball (Sarah) and her son Frank in 1899. The home was built high on a hill overlooking the Trinity River. At a time when the typical cost of a dwelling was between $2,000 and $4,000, the construction of the house came to $38,000. The house has had just three different families live in it over its entire existence, and it has seen very few changes since it was first built. There are towers, gables, copper finials, a slate tile roof, and a porch made of red sandstone and marble on the late Victorian facade. The elegant interior has its original wood mantles, cornices, paneling, coffered ceilings, and parquet flooring. The McFarland House was declared as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 1979, as well as Fort Worth's second Historic and Cultural Landmark in 1980. In 1979, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places, and in 1980, it was certified as such by the state of Texas.

At The Heirloom Hideaway, you won't find a more perfect setting for commemorating your elopement, micro-wedding and reception, or special event with your closest loved ones. Since three generations ago, our family has made use of this teeny-tiny piece of Texas, sometimes known as paradise. In the beginning, it was our grandfather's small 80-acre "place in the country," which he used to enjoy the outdoors on by hunting, fishing, and simply taking in the scenery. Although he did not cultivate vegetables or raise poultry here, he did have a horse for the grandkids to ride, several cows (mainly as pets), and a Brahma Bull named Baby. He referred to this place as his "farm" (his biggest pet of all). Our parents built the home as well as the movie theater, which is now known as The Ruby Chapel, in the early 1990s, and it served as their Texas residence for the subsequent 20 years. As they became older, they "downsized" the land until it was ultimately reduced to the current size of 7 acres.

- 1 Outdoor
Since 1935, Joe T. Garcia's Mexican Restaurant has been a Fort Worth institution. Mr. and Mrs. Joe T. Garcia founded the restaurant, and it has remained in the Garcia family ever since. Throughout the restaurant and on our famed patio, there are signs of a long family heritage. Joe T. Garcia's had become one of the most popular restaurants in the Dallas-Fort Worth area by the 1970s. The restaurant began to expand not only in popularity but also in size as a result of their loyal consumers. The first addition was a modest patio with a pool and cabana. Every year since then, a new patio, party space, or eating area has been built. The seating capacity has grown from sixteen in the beginning to well over 1000 presently. Even as the restaurant grows, the same style of cooking and original recipes are used, and the younger generation exhibits the same passion and enthusiasm for the business that their parents and grandparents instilled in them. There are many lovely reasons to have a party or event at Joe T. Garcias. We can accommodate groups of 25 or more with our lush gardens and amazing indoor areas. The restaurant can be as intimate or open as needed, adapting to each occasion, thanks to the range of rooms offered. Rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, birthday parties, graduation parties, corporate celebrations, and benefits have all been held at our venue. Outside, breathtaking views of lush gardens and fountains abound, while internal spaces like La Puertita exude genuine rustic charm. We can also accommodate you at your preferred location. For an appointment to see our lovely party rooms, please contact or email leah@joetgarcias.com.

Choctaw Stadium
1000 Ballpark Way, Arlington, TX 76011, USA- Spaces for 500 Guests
- 1 Venue with Activities
Arlington, Texas, has been the home of the Texas Rangers for more than 25 years and is a mecca for baseball and events that are as massive as the Lone Star State. Choctaw Stadium, for example, demonstrates this. With approximately 48,000 open-air seating, this 270-acre multi-purpose stadium has been the home of the Texas Rangers baseball team since 1994 and has hosted two World Series games as well as the 1995 All-Star Game. Besides sporting events, Choctaw Stadium can hold a variety of public and private functions, ranging from concerts to banquets. Are you organizing a fundraising event or holiday party? Do you like to have a supper on the diamond or a beverage beneath the stars? Today is the day to see if your desired date is available for your special event. Designed to honor the rich legacy of baseball in America, Choctaw Stadium combines state-of-the-art comforts with a nod to the past in its construction. It was decided in 2020 to rearrange the original Choctaw Stadium plan so that it could also be used as a football and soccer stadium. The park's exterior is comprised of granite and brick, with a home run porch in right field and an asymmetrical playing field, which is a frequent feature of ballparks built during the first half of the twentieth century. The playing field is made of actual grass, namely Tifway 419 turf, which is lush and luxurious. And, of course, the Lone Star, a symbol of Texan pride, is prominently displayed on the park's exterior and interior, as well as on its signage.

Thistle Hill
1509 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104, USA- Spaces for 250 Guests
Thistle Hill is the most spectacular cattle baron era estate that has been preserved, and it is also one of the most prominent residential landmarks in Fort Worth. Thistle Hill is a Georgian Revival home that exemplifies the architectural magnificence of Fort Worth's affluent pioneers. The neighborhood where it is located was formerly known as Quality Hill. In the year 1904, Albert Buckman Wharton, Jr. and his wife Electra Waggoner Wharton, who was the daughter of a wealthy cattleman named W.T. Waggoner, moved into this home that was 11,000 square feet and included 18 rooms. The home was remodeled by Sanguinet and Staats in 1911, after Elizabeth and Winfield Scott bought the estate for $90,000 and commissioned them to do so. The original house had been designed by Sanguinet and Staats. The primary bulk of the house is a gambrel-roofed structure that is two and one-half stories tall and has semi-circular bays on either side. The mansion is accentuated by towering chimneys as well as a massive porch that has limestone columns. The roof is covered in glossy green tiles, and the walls are elaborately framed in cast stone. The outside is red brick. The foyer welcomes guests with a grand staircase and abundant woodwork as two of its prominent features. The enclosed gardens of 1.5 acres, which include a magnificent carriage house, have been preserved. In 1975, the home was included in the National Register of Historic Places. In 1977, it was recognized as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark, and in 1978, it became the first Historic and Cultural Landmark in Fort Worth.
