  Bluff View Art District is a family-owned arts neighborhood perched on the bluffs above the Tennessee River in downtown Chattanooga, spanning a block and a half of the city's first art district. Dr. Charles and Mary Portera began the district's revitalization in the early 1990s, purchasing its first building in 1991, now home to Rembrandt's Coffee House and River Gallery, and the district has since grown into a cluster of restaurants, galleries, and gardens set among renovated historic mansions. Event spaces throughout the district take advantage of its river views and gardens. Renaissance Commons offers a set of mahogany-paneled rooms, including one with a hand-tiled copper fireplace, suited to weddings, receptions, and corporate meetings. The Maclellan House Audubon Room and Bocce Court Terrace overlook the Tennessee River and can host ceremonies and dinners. Outdoor spaces like the Piazza, Mezzo terraced gardens, and the River Gallery Sculpture Garden, landscaped with works by internationally recognized sculptors, provide settings for ceremonies and larger receptions.   The Aeneas Building is a wedding and events venue in downtown Jackson, Tennessee, set inside a restored 1916 structure originally built as the sanctuary for Jackson's First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The building was enlarged in 1966, fell into disuse in 1998, and was restored beginning in 2003, a renovation that kept the historic architecture intact while adding modern conveniences for events. The venue offers roughly 2,900 square feet of indoor space plus an outdoor courtyard and garden, accommodating up to 216 guests. Wood floors, high ceilings, and tall windows give the ballroom its character and abundant natural light, while the adjoining garden — originally planted in 1920 with flowers brought from church members' homes and later restored along with the building — provides a quieter, outdoor setting for ceremonies or photos. The venue hosts weddings, reunions, luncheons, corporate events, and styled photo sessions. Every booking includes use of the PA sound system, high-speed internet, the caterer's facility, the garden area, free guest parking, and setup and teardown of the in-house tables and chairs.   Cool Springs House is a restored 1830s log home in Brentwood, Tennessee, now operated by the City of Brentwood at Crockett Park. The house was built by the Carothers family, one of middle Tennessee's largest log homes at the time, and expanded in the 1870s with added halls and a Victorian front porch. A 1974 restoration by Karen and John Noel uncovered the original blue-poplar log construction beneath later coverings, work that earned the property a place on the National Register of Historic Sites in 1983. Today the venue hosts more than 100 events a year, offering exclusive use of the house and surrounding grounds for weddings, elopements, showers, rehearsal dinners, corporate events, and celebrations of life. The venue books only one event per day, so clients have private access to the full property without a competing party on site. Guest counts run up to 150 across the house and grounds, with the option to add a tent on the lawn for larger outdoor gatherings. The property is built around a full-weekend destination wedding experience, giving couples exclusive access to the entire estate rather than a single room or day. The centerpiece is the Barn, a 2,400-square-foot covered space with open-air windows on three sides and sides that roll down for weather protection, making it suited to both indoor and outdoor-style receptions for up to 150 guests. It's outfitted with a serving station, chairs, tables, linens, audio equipment, outdoor heaters, ceiling fans, a vintage chandelier, and a stage area for a DJ or band. For ceremonies, the Country Chapel offers a more traditional setting: built in 2007 and modeled after the vintage chapels of Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains, it seats around 75 people in pews imported from a church in West Virginia.
