  It was originally constructed in 1904 for the C.H. Alexander family and is an unusually well-proportioned design of English influenced architecture with a neo-classical influence that is still standing today. The Dallas Woman's Forum purchased the building in 1930, and it was refurbished and redecorated in 1967. The front columns, which are made of Vermont granite and are two storeys tall, are a focal point. The gateway roof is supported by the columns, and the entablature that surrounds the roof is basic in design. The porch is reached through a set of wide stairs, with built-in benches flanking either side. The massive double doors with patterned beveled glass are a thing of breathtaking beauty. The nostalgic setting of a turn-of-the-century mansion is the perfect backdrop for a variety of events including weddings and receptions, luncheons and teas, bridal and baby showers, holiday parties, formal dinners and cocktail parties, corporate events and organizational meetings.   TWO-STORY CLIMATE CONTROLLED BARN The 4,000-square-foot Dove Hollow Estate barn is framed with grey and white barn doors. Our bespoke iron and glass doors, which serve as the barn's main entrance and exit, are what set us apart. They're responsible for our barn's industrial/modern vibe, which we adore. The ambience for your wedding is set by 33 ft high ceilings with magnificent industrial teardrop glass chandeliers. Our barn also has 22 pane-less glass windows, some of which are almost 10 feet long, ensuring that your memories are completely captured. CHAPEL Our chapel features bench seating and can accommodate up to 200 people. It has a gloomy black exterior with gold hardware details and wide windows (to let your white outfit sparkle!). The interior is light and spacious, with industrial and modern design elements that nicely match the character of our barn welcoming area. The climate-controlled chapel is conveniently positioned next to the Dove Hollow Estate barn. Take in your indoor ceremony before heading over to the Barn for your reception! OUTDOOR CEREMONY SPACE If you want to have an outside ceremony, come out via our barn doors and meet your love under our oak tree. Electrical outlets are readily located throughout the venue for any DJ or ceremony needs. The seating for the outside event will be provided by our clients. The metal tolix chairs at Dove Hollow will only be used for reception. PRIVATE BRIDAL SUITE WITH BATHROOM Dove Hollow brides have their own place upstairs with a private bathroom, designed to make getting ready with your besties a calm experience. The suite features cosmetic stations, a full-length mirror, and lounge furniture, including a classic emerald green tufted sofa that is ideal for “getting ready” shots! GROOMS LOUNGE Grooms can unwind and prepare for the big day in their own lounge at Dove Hollow Estate, which is also located upstairs.   The Richardson Woman's Club is a beautiful rural house in the center of Richardson. It was founded in 1903. Both the Founders Hall and the Clubhouse, located on a beautifully forested acres, provide an ideal location for a variety of events including weddings, receptions, corporate meetings, luncheons, banquets, parties, and many other sorts of gatherings and gatherings. If you're having a buffet, Founders Hall, which is the bigger of the two venues, can accommodate 250 people, while seating 168 guests is possible in the smaller space.   Belmont Manor & Historic Park is a historic estate on nearly 68 acres in Elkridge, Maryland, operated by Howard County Recreation & Parks. Its main building, Villa Firenze, was originally built in New York State around 1850 using timber-frame construction, then carefully transported to the property and restored; the surrounding buildings were designed in the same old Italian style, with tile roofs and warm exterior tones. The resort produces its own wines on-site, earning gold, silver, and bronze medals at the Rodeo Uncorked San Antonio International Wine Competition from 2021 through 2024.
