The Pasadena Scottish Rite Events Center occupies a historic 1925 cathedral at 150 North Madison Avenue in Pasadena's Playhouse Village neighborhood. The building was dedicated that year complete with an auditorium, stage, and extensive scenery capabilities, and has served as a landmark of the community ever since. Its Egyptian-motif entrance, added in 1961, features terrazzo flooring and intricate architectural craftsmanship that sets the tone for the interior spaces throughout. Two primary event spaces are available for rental. The Cobb Auditorium seats 454 guests in a theater setting equipped with professional sound, lighting, and stage capabilities — well suited to performances, ceremonies, and large-scale gatherings. A full-service banquet hall at street level, accessible from the North parking lot, accommodates up to 300 guests for dinners, receptions, and private celebrations. The Events Center offers flexibility in vendor selection and is available for a range of occasions including weddings, private dinners, film and television shoots, and performing arts productions. Owned by the Kelleher family, the restaurant’s name reflects the measurement of sugar levels at which the grapes for the Kelleher Family Vineyard’s Cabernet Sauvignon are harvested. Brix Restaurant and Gardens “Best of Award of Excellence” and Napa Valley Wine List Award wine list is California focused including hard-to-find bottlings and featuring winery exclusive Napa offerings. Their corkage policy is $20 per 750ml bottle, limited to one bottle per person per table with a maximum of 6 bottles. We waive one corkage for every bottle that is purchased from our list. Set on 16 prime Napa Valley acres, the grounds are abundantly planted with vegetables and herbs in 25 raised beds. They also have a fruit and citrus orchard alongside extensive flowering gardens which we encourage you to explore. Last but not least, their Kelleher Family Vineyard is in the Oakville AVA and they bottle a highly rated estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon. The dual themes of winemaking and farm-to-table cuisine run through the three private dining rooms at Brix. Stunning views of the vineyards are the focus in our two Provencal-inspired rooms adjacent to the main dining room. Inside the main dining room, they offer the gorgeous Reserve Cellar for smaller parties, where guests are surrounded by tastefully displayed cases of wine in a red-hued room. In all of the private event areas, guests can expect the stellar service and cooking for which the restaurant is well-known. Imagine your special day with family and friends surrounded by flower gardens, grapevines, hillside vineyard views and the Mayacamas Mountains as the backdrop. Brix offers our fabulous vineyard site for your special ceremony anywhere from two to 200 guests. Jose P. Rizal Community Center is a 10,000-square-foot multipurpose event facility located at 7320 Florin Mall Drive in Sacramento, California, operated by the Southgate Recreation & Park District. Opened in 1983 and named after Philippine patriot and physician Jose P. Rizal, the center was originally envisioned to serve the Filipino community and has grown into a versatile gathering space for the broader Sacramento area. The center's main activity hall features polished wood flooring, bleachers, indoor and outdoor stages, and a scoreboard — making it well-suited for weddings, banquets, dances, birthday parties, sports events, and meetings. The facility accommodates up to 350 guests and includes a well-appointed kitchen, a lobby area, a small meeting and changing room, and audio-visual capabilities throughout.
