  The CAJUNDOME Convention Center is a multi-purpose event facility situated on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in Lafayette, Louisiana. Spanning 72,000 square feet of dedicated convention space within an 85,000-square-foot complex, the center draws corporate conferences, trade shows, banquets, nonprofit fundraisers, school events, graduation ceremonies, Mardi Gras balls, and weddings throughout the year. The facility offers several distinct event spaces — including the second-floor Festival Ballroom with its adjoining pre-function area, the first-floor Mardi Gras Ballroom with seven divisible salons, a large Exhibit Hall that can accommodate up to 3,500 guests for major productions, and The Table Room, a private lounge with full bar service.   Maison Soule & The Paris Room occupies a 22-room historic mansion at 720 Saint Louis Street in the French Quarter of New Orleans, just steps from Bourbon Street. Built beginning in 1829 by French emigre Pierre Soule — a Louisiana U.S. Senator and criminal lawyer who died in the mansion's third-floor bedroom in 1870 — the property has served as an elegant manor, an orphan asylum, a jazz parlor, and a family-owned restaurant over nearly two centuries. The Paris Room, on the mansion's second floor, is available for private events of all kinds.   The Grand Opera House of the South is a historic performing arts venue and event space in downtown Crowley, Louisiana. Constructed in 1901 by David E. Lyons for $18,000 using virgin Louisiana cypress, pine, and oak, the 33,000-square-foot building is a National Historical Landmark recognized for its pressed tin tiles, hand-painted angel medallions, and original architectural detail. For nearly four decades, the venue hosted prominent performers including Enrico Caruso, Clark Gable, and Huey Long before transitioning to film and eventually closing. In 2004, the Gielen family donated the building to a nonprofit organization, and a $4.5 million restoration reopened it in 2008 as a fully functioning performing arts venue. Today the Grand Opera House of the South offers three distinct rental spaces for private events. Le Grand Hall on the first floor accommodates up to 500 guests in one continuous open area, with a full bar, a spacious bride's room, and a state-of-the-art kitchen. The Grand Ballroom on the third floor is a more intimate setting for approximately 75 guests, with views overlooking renovated Main Street in downtown Crowley — well suited to rehearsal dinners, showers, cocktail parties, and receptions.
