  Givhans Ferry State Park is a 988-acre lowcountry retreat set along the Edisto River, the longest free-flowing blackwater river in North America.   Colonial Lake Park

  For more than 150 years, Historic Colonial Lake has been a well-liked gathering and recreation area on the peninsula of Charleston. All throughout the day, people jog and stroll around the park.
