Founded on January 22, 1885, the Genesee Valley Club is one of Rochester's oldest private social clubs, established by ninety-one civic and business leaders at a time when the city stood at the center of American industry and culture. The club has maintained its home on East Avenue for well over a century, and today holds recognized standing among America's premier private clubs. Ten event spaces across the property accommodate groups from as few as six to standing receptions of 500.
