The venue is the result of eight years of painstaking attention to detail, design theory, and the intelligent repurposing of historical items into a single space for people of all ages to enjoy. Cherry Hollow Farm is located in Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia, just minutes from Atlanta, Hartsfield International Airport, and other internationally renowned destinations including Serenbe and Foxhall Resort. Carter and Laura Williamson purchased the old farmland in 2002, raised four sons there, and then began building the venue in 2010 with a variety of resources from across the Southeast. Because Mr. Mauldin was constructing the building out of granite from Stone Mountain, it was the talk of the town while it was under construction. The residents of the town questioned if a structure composed of such material could possibly last. It's been called The Langley General Store, The Mercantile Exchange, A Feed and Seed Company, the Grinder, and the Goldkist Building over the years. Our venue, which first opened its doors in 2008, was designed exclusively for unique gatherings. The high ceilings of 100-year-old rough-hewn wood, archways, chandeliers, furnishings, and attention to detail preserve and maintain the authenticity and charm of the turn of the century. 550 Trackside was built in 1904 as a Cotton Warehouse and is made of Stone Mountain granite.
