Booth Western Art Museum is the world's largest permanent exhibition space for Western art, housed in a 120,000-square-foot building in Cartersville, Georgia — designed to resemble a modern pueblo and constructed from Bulgarian limestone. Open since 2003 and located just north of Atlanta along I-75, the Booth is a Smithsonian Institution Affiliate and the second largest art museum in Georgia. The museum's permanent collection spans more than a dozen galleries, from Frederic Remington and Charles Russell to contemporary masters Howard Terpning and Andy Warhol. The Millar Presidential Gallery displays a portrait and original hand-signed letter from each U.S. President. Temporary exhibitions rotate throughout the year, hosting 12 to 15 shows annually. The Queen Anne Victorian residence, original barn, servants' quarters, and smokehouse, all of which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places, are all included in the facility's historic designation. The Engine Room is a one-of-a-kind event facility in historic downtown Monroe, Georgia, housed in portion of the Monroe Cotton Mills, which housed the engines that powered the mill machinery for 90 years. The hardwood floors, exposed brick walls with worn paint, heart of pine columns, iron bars covering a few of the windows, and major entrances with historic sliding fire doors have all been repaired and kept intact in the building, which has been a part of Monroe's history since 1895. This completely accessible, climate controlled space is one of the largest in Walton county, with modern comforts like as a full service commercial catering prep kitchen, updated industrial chic restrooms, and a huge bridal suite. The Engine Room's 6,400 sq ft main hall can accommodate groups of up to 400 seated or 500 standing people, but it may also be partitioned to accommodate smaller wedding ceremonies and receptions. With the old brick mill building and its surrounding towers acting as a magnificent backdrop, the expansive outdoor lawn provides an acre and a half of green area for ceremonies, parties, and picnics. The Engine Room also has a tucked-away outdoor patio for receptions and short ceremonies in a secluded open-air setting. Weddings The Engine Room is Monroe's newest and most interesting Special Events venue, providing both value and beauty. The Engine Room, with over 15,000 square feet of total area, can accommodate weddings of all shapes and sizes. The Engine Room boasts a single venue space of over 6,250 square feet, fully accessible space and facilities, climate control, a full-service caterer's kitchen, abundant parking, a secluded outdoor patio alcove, stunning hardwood floors, and an intimate old mill setting. Tables and chairs are included in the rental, in addition to these features. There are no vendor requirements in the Engine Room. While we can recommend some excellent merchants, all renters are free to choose their preferred vendors.

A climate-controlled barn was added in 2012, its exterior clad in reclaimed lumber salvaged from the old Panama City pier and airport runway, giving the space a distinctly storied character. The venue accommodates events from intimate micro-weddings to celebrations of up to 300 guests. The 3,600-square-foot barn serves as the primary ceremony or reception space, while a draped outdoor arbor hung with chandeliers and string lights offers an open-air ceremony option. The historic house provides a bridal suite with an original claw-foot tub, a groom's suite, and a billiards room. Onsite cottage accommodations are available for overnight guests. The Venue at Twin Oaks can handle larger outdoor parties on 53 acres of farmland. Their climate-controlled indoor barn can easily accommodate 130 guests and 70 outside. A covered porch on either side of the barn with fans keeps your guests out of the elements. This permits 200 guests. A charming open chapel in the woods allows for a ceremony venue regardless of the weather. With a wide outdoor dance floor and stage for a DJ or band. The Barn's back has a covered sports bar for fall weddings. On-site amenities include cornhole, swings, a playground, and more. The property has six family-friendly and wheelchair accessible restrooms. The venue can also accommodate the bridal party overnight. The Cottage, a smaller farmhouse with a full kitchen, is available for the bride and her bridesmaids to get ready in on the wedding day. The Cottage can be leased the night before the wedding for an extra charge and sleeps four people. The Cave is a large place for the groom and his groomsmen with a big screen tv, billiard table, dart board, and wet bar. The Cave can be hired the night before the wedding for an additional charge and sleeps six people. Wedding guests can stay at the Honeymoon Treehouse. You can have your sendoff and be shuttled to our treehouse without leaving the property. This makes the morning transition to your honeymoon destination straightforward, without an extra stop. The Honeymoon Treehouse has two cost options. Two packages, one with a special drink, the other with a gift card and rose petals.
