Chronos Hall is Modern Times’ most massive and grandest event space, now open in East Village San Diego. This stunning venue features exposed wooden trusses, barrel-vaulted ceilings, and oversized skylights that bathe the room in natural light by day. At night, the space glows under a canopy of string lights, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. Polished concrete floors and red brick walls add a touch of industrial charm, while soft white draping introduces elegance and softness throughout the room. Lush plants bring a sense of life and openness to the space, softening the raw architectural elements with organic warmth. The open layout offers flexibility without sacrificing intimacy, making the space completely customizable for whatever moment you're designing. Spanning 6,000 square feet, the venue includes a private bridal suite with its own bathroom, plus recently renovated guest restrooms easily accessible from the main hall. Lovely Day is an elegant and industrial large-capacity venue in the Longfellow Neighborhood of Oakland (near MacArthur BART). As a former catering company and restaurant, we have our own expertly-staffed industrial kitchens on site, capable of serving up to 10,000 meals per day at full capacity. We hold an ABC Type 47 liquor license, and are pleased to serve a full bar of cocktails, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic mocktails. Amplified music is allowed late at our venue. — We wanted a place where you could dance with your best friend to that one song from college. A place where you could light sparklers while shooting off confetti cannons. A charming space to spend time with people, have some great food and tasty cocktails.
