Our hotel offers a variety of meeting and event spaces as well as access to all of USC campus’ extensive venue offerings, for a truly unique experience. During your event, you will work with our expert chefs and on-site catering team who provide a one-stop shop for all of your event planning and conferencing needs. Keeping in line with our campus Food Philosophy, USC Hotel offers a variety of fresh, seasonal, and inspiring hand-made menus. There is no rental fee for the reception but there is a food and beverage minimum applied to all events. The venue allows 6 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $250/hr. Please note there is a $15 corkage fee for wine and champagne. Cabrillo Beach Bath House is a historic Mediterranean-style bathhouse built in 1932 on the shore of Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro, Los Angeles. Originally constructed as the last major bathhouse in Southern California, the 26,000-square-foot landmark was fully restored in 2002 and is now operated by the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks as a special event venue. The bathhouse offers an upstairs ballroom with vaulted ceilings, a hardwood dance floor, and windows that let in natural light, alongside an outdoor patio overlooking the ocean. Established in 1915 by Italian immigrant, Cesar Menotti, Townhouse is the oldest bar in Venice and one of the oldest bars in the Los Angeles area. Townhouse's live entertainment basement, The Del Monte, was a true speakeasy during Prohibition (1920-1933) and a night-life nucleus, serving many nefarious and infamous characters of the day, masked cleverly by Menotti's grocery store above. Underneath the rows of produce was a trap door and dumbwaiter that could bring down two guests at a time. Alcohol was brought in by boats from Canada and then smuggled via underground tunnels. Once Prohibition ended in 1933, a staircase was added. Today both floors serve hand-crafted cocktails from the golden age of drinking with classic bartending techniques and know-how and offer a fine library of world-class spirits, beer, and wine.
