Industrial heaters are used in the fall and winter to keep your party warm and toasty even in the coldest of temperatures. A special place to infuse your dinner or reception with a unique vibe, the Hall of Boats can be found on the ground floor of the Museum and is fully handicap accessible. It is the heart of the Herreshoff collection and is located on the ground floor of the Museum. Your event will take place among more than a dozen magnificent antique wooden boats, all of which were built by the Herreshoff Manufacturing Company, in this impressive space. Flag Hill Distillery & Winery is a family-owned, 110-acre agricultural estate in Lee, New Hampshire, recognized as the state's oldest winery, largest vineyard, and oldest distillery. Grape growing began on the property in 1987, winery operations followed in 1990, and in 2004 the estate opened a distillery — the first legal distillery in New Hampshire since Prohibition. The acreage is permanently preserved under a conservation easement, and the property's own gardens and crops supply ingredients for the on-site kitchen throughout the year. Two distinct settings serve private events: a tented vineyard venue accommodating up to 300 guests for ceremonies and receptions set among the vine rows, and a restored post-and-beam barn suited to more intimate gatherings of up to 80. The 18-hole, par-71 course was designed by Walter Johnson, a disciple of architect Donald Ross, and has been carefully restored over the decades while staying true to its founding character: small, fast greens and a walking tradition that rewards strategy over length.
