Johnston Woods sits on 375 wooded acres about 20 minutes north of Chattanooga, in McDonald, Tennessee. The grounds combine forest, trails, and a lake, giving weddings, retreats, corporate events, and reunions a natural, faith-centered backdrop. Several venues on the property serve different event sizes. Hurt Lodge is built with wood beam construction, stained concrete floors, and a rock fireplace, and can be paired with its outdoor deck for larger gatherings. The Woodland Center, the newest facility at 4,500 square feet, opens onto a back deck facing the field and sunset, making it suited to large weddings and receptions. Lakeside, set at Hurt Lake, hosts ceremonies and photos against the water, with paddle boarding, canoeing, fishing, and swimming available nearby. Catering is handled in-house by chef Ceasar Thomas, with outside caterers also permitted, and the venue does not allow alcohol on the property. Guests can also make use of hiking and biking trails, fire pits, and lodge-style accommodations that sleep up to 100 people.

The Pink Palace Mansion & Museum occupies the unfinished dream home of Clarence Saunders, founder of the Piggly Wiggly grocery chain, whose distinctive pink marble facade gave the building its enduring nickname. After Saunders lost the property to bankruptcy, the mansion was given to the city of Memphis in the late 1920s and has since grown into a museum of Memphis and Mid-South history, with a multi-story expansion added in 1975 that introduced a Giant Screen Theater and planetarium alongside the original building. That mix of formal historic rooms and modern museum spaces gives the venue an unusually wide range for private events, from the elegant Mansion and its Ballroom to the Mezzanine, Giant Screen Theater, AutoZone Planetarium, and Deep End Theater. Weddings, corporate events, private screenings, galas, and educational gatherings are all hosted on-site, with options suited to intimate parties as well as large celebrations, and a full facility buyout available for the biggest events. Every rental comes with support from a dedicated Special Events Coordinator, along with tables and chairs, use of the on-site catering kitchens, and free on-site parking. Renting the Mansion also includes two private getting-ready suites, one on each side of the building, for wedding parties preparing before the event.

Bluff Mountain Inn is a five-acre private estate in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, part of the Bluff Mountain Weddings collection, which has hosted weddings in the area for nearly 20 years. The property is built around a full-weekend destination wedding experience, giving couples exclusive access to the entire estate rather than a single room or day. The centerpiece is the Barn, a 2,400-square-foot covered space with open-air windows on three sides and sides that roll down for weather protection, making it suited to both indoor and outdoor-style receptions for up to 150 guests. It's outfitted with a serving station, chairs, tables, linens, audio equipment, outdoor heaters, ceiling fans, a vintage chandelier, and a stage area for a DJ or band. For ceremonies, the Country Chapel offers a more traditional setting: built in 2007 and modeled after the vintage chapels of Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains, it seats around 75 people in pews imported from a church in West Virginia. Smaller gatherings of 50 or fewer can use the climate-controlled Garden Reception Room, which opens through large doors onto a deck that can double as a dance floor. Beyond the event spaces, the estate includes a private bridal suite for hair and makeup, a groom's lounge with a bar, game room, and pool table, and on-site lodging with six bedrooms and six bathrooms so the wedding party can stay through the weekend.

Perched atop the Republic Centre — Chattanooga's tallest building — The Walden Club is a private city club founded in 1975 by a group of local business and community leaders who envisioned a place of great food, personal service, and sky-high views of the city. From the outset, the club broke with the exclusionary norms of its era, welcoming members "without consideration of their race, sex, creed, or long local lineage." Today the club serves its members' social and professional life in equal measure, hosting everything from quiet luncheon meetings and small intimate dinners to large formal private parties and dances. Four distinct rooms give it that range: the grand Ballroom for weddings and galas, the Riverview Room overlooking the Tennessee River and Signal Mountain, the contemporary Tavern for cocktail-style gatherings, and the more intimate Tennessee and Forest rooms for private dinners and smaller functions. Members and their guests also have access to full dining service, with lunch and dinner offered several days a week, all set against panoramic views of downtown Chattanooga, Lookout Mountain, and the Southside Historic District.
