The Oak Atelier is a one stop shop for professional photography, private event space, and woodworking. We have over 2500 square feet of interior space and 5 acres of open and wooded outdoor space just outside of The Woodlands, Texas. There are four different spaces available for rent, each with its own set of characteristics that make this location genuinely unique. The majority of the furniture is manufactured in our woodworking shop (special orders are welcome!). We have enough of parking and paved access for you to dump your belongings. There is also a gray plastered pool for underwater photography, as well as a lovely white brick facade, making this place ideal for any shot or event! When I was trying to come up with ideas for this space, a few things came to mind. I enjoy both a clean, modern style and the flavor and detailed design of old world Europe. This studio is a hybrid of the two, providing something extra special and unusual. The 17 foot ceilings, massive 9 foot doors salvaged from old mansions, polished concrete floors, and exposed brick are just a few of the features that give this space its unique personality. We primarily serve professional photographers and offer hourly studio rental, as well as wardrobe rental and a selection of larger furniture pieces that can be put up in any location. I can personally attest to how amazing this place is for private occasions after having my husband and I's wedding reception here!

After much deliberation, we have decided to pursue our dream of hosting weddings and events in our own home and backyard. We officially opened the doors to our lovely property, which is now known as The Hay Bale Wedding & Events Venue, in the summer of 2016. The Castle in the Country $3,500 Up to 175 people can be accommodated for Saturday events. The Rustic Chandelier is $2,500 and is available Sunday through Thursday. It can accommodate up to 100 people. The Stagecoach is offering a $1,000 prize every Sunday through Thursday. It can accommodate up to 60 people. Beautifully appointed Bridal Suite with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the grounds and pool area. The exclusive and secluded estate venue, which has been family-owned since 2007, is located 75 miles east of Dallas in Emory, TX. Our northeast Texas location spans over 800 acres and is divided into six unique parcels. A total of 65 acres are available for events ranging from small gatherings to huge gatherings. The Aurora at Scarbrough Haven event venue, an open-air chapel, a beautiful greenhouse, an art-filled tea room, wooded walking trails, and lakefront access to Lake Fork – one of the best bass fishing lakes in the United States – are just a few of the highlights. THE AURORA AT SCARBROUGH HAVEN This modern construction is based on an 1853 hand-hewn oak barn frame and features hand-crafted embellishments like shou sugi ban cladding and hand-bleached pecan floors. The interior of the building can seat 200 people. THE TEA ROOM AT SCARBROUGH HAVEN For afternoon teas, wedding, bridal, or baby showers, reunions, rehearsal dinners, or offsite work functions, this meeting area easily seats 50 people. The Wildflower is situated on 50 gorgeous acres between Lake Tawakoni and Lake Fork in Emory, Texas. This is a modern industrial farmhouse with a total area of 5,500 square feet. The 3,800-square-foot Wildflower Reception Room has 18-foot walls and a 31-foot ceiling peak. It features exposed beams as well as walls of glass windows and doors that look out over a two-acre pond filled with Large Mouth Bass. There's an indoor outdoor bar, as well as a 1,600 square foot wraparound covered deck with views of the meadow and pond. The groom's apartment features a flat-screen TV, leather sofa, and a private deck with fishing pond access. All fishing equipment is provided by us! The bridal suite offers front-row parking, a private entrance, a private bath, and an eight-seat make-up and hair station. The Brilo, which is attached, is a one-of-a-kind circular chamber with magnificent accommodations for you and your bridesmaids to get ready.
