Located in the heart of Texas's Hill Country, A Thousand Cedars offers a unique forest setting brimming with majestic Cedar trees, big Oak trees, and a variety of other native Texas plants. Many clearly indicated paths lead to the location, providing convenient access for the Wedding Party and their guests. The natural scenery also provides fantastic photography options for the entire wedding party and their guests. A Colorado and Industrial motif has been included into the design of the venue itself, which features Cedar beams, black iron trusses, exposed brickwork, vaulted ceilings that reach 30 feet in height, and enormous glass windows on all sides that let the forest and natural light to fill the space. Our Bridal and Groom Suites, which are completely furnished, are accessible via a stairway near the entryway. Each Suite will be large enough to accommodate entire bridal parties as they prepare for the big day, and it will be equipped with its own shower, bath, vanities, mirrors, and windows to let in plenty of natural light. Leading from the suites, you will arrive at the inside balcony, which provides a panoramic view of the entire reception hall and is an excellent location for additional wedding day photos or bouquet throwing. The property is anchored by a historic, 100-year-old limestone chapel that served as a United Methodist church until 2001; its bell tower rises more than 25 feet above the entrance, and majestic oak trees shade the surrounding grounds for outdoor ceremonies. Beyond the chapel, the estate offers a vaulted dining hall that seats up to 250 guests, a dance hall with a built-in stage, and both indoor and outdoor bars, all set among manicured gardens and covered patios. Two on-site houses -- a century-old country lodge and a private bridal suite -- give couples and their guests a place to stay before and after the celebration. Catering is led in-house by owner and executive chef Dennis Spinelli, whose company has served the Central Texas region for more than 30 years. Rentals include 12 hours of event time, with tables, chairs, and setup included for events of up to 250 guests.

  Inspired by a trip to Tuscany, The Vineyard at Florence began as a working vineyard on the gently sloped hills of Florence, Texas, and grew into a boutique hotel and resort with a winery, restaurant, day spa, and private event spaces. Its main building, Villa Firenze, was originally built in New York State around 1850 using timber-frame construction, then carefully transported to the property and restored; the surrounding buildings were designed in the same old Italian style, with tile roofs and warm exterior tones. The resort produces its own wines on-site, earning gold, silver, and bronze medals at the Rodeo Uncorked San Antonio International Wine Competition from 2021 through 2024. For weddings and private events, the property offers a range of settings, from Ella Amore's expansive vineyard-view spaces for large gatherings to the more intimate Winemaker's Villa. Farmers Commons, the on-site restaurant, is also available for semi-private events or a full buyout, with prix fixe menus and custom cocktails.
