In the heart of Frederick, Maryland, Dulanys Overlook is a working crop farm with 170 acres of land. In addition, it is a short drive away from the Baltimore, Washington, and Virginia metropolitan areas. The property is perched high on a hill with expansive views of the surrounding countryside. The wedding party and family will be staying in a historic brick house on the day of the wedding, which includes a beautiful brides room as well as a game room/man cave. On the day of the wedding, the couple will have exclusive use of the entire property for 12 hours. The farm has a historic barn that has been restored and is equipped with modern restrooms and catering space for individual events. It has the capacity to accommodate up to 200 guests while still providing enough space for dancing. It is possible to bring in your own vendors if you have a favorite caterer that you'd like to use, as we have a list of vendors that we recommend for all of the services you will need for your wedding. The wedding coordinator assigned to each of our couples will be with them from the time they book their wedding with us until the day of their ceremony. This location, which is not far from Sugarloaf Mountain, serves as a retreat as well as a magical backdrop for couples who want to exchange vows before the mountain. The farm, originally used as a dairy farm, was in the same family for generations until 2019. The farmhouse was built in the late 1800's, rebuilt in 1921.
