For weddings and other special events of all types, The Allan House, a lovely location in the heart of Downtown Austin, is the perfect choice. The Victorian home, which has been expertly restored, has heart pine wood floors from the original construction, gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows, crystal chandeliers, modern furniture, and circular southern verandas. The mountain laurels, native flora, and heritage oaks that flank the expansive stone courtyard provide an intimate urban retreat. Glistening lights that come on when the sun sets increase the outdoor space's appeal. The use of a specially constructed clear, heated tent is included in the venue rental fee for the months of December, January, and February. Her friends and relatives began approaching her for guidance after that, and a wedding planner was born! She has almost 20 years of experience in the field. Sara joined Lone Star Mansion in 2015 after earning her certification as a Certified Wedding & Event Professional, working as an outside planner, and running her own venue. She's behind the scenes ensuring our brides have the perfect day when she's not conducting tours and getting to know each couple. Sara enjoys spending her free time with her spouse and friends traveling around the world. Tigi has worked with all area of weddings, from assistant coordination to videography, flower design, cake creation, complete planning, and everything in between. Tigi genuinely cares about individuals and enjoys assisting them in planning their ideal wedding. She is genuinely concerned about each couple and enjoys building long-term relationships with them during the planning process. Tigi has progressed to the position of Senior Event Director after joining Lone Star Mansion in 2015. Tigi and her husband are foster parents and manage a nonprofit while they are not at the Mansion.

Having a long-standing presence in the community, the Heard-Craig is committed to provide educational and creative opportunities to all. If you would like to organize a tour, a group visit, find out about a community art tour, connect with a local art studio, or learn more about the Art Club of McKinney, please contact us. The Carriage House may be rented for wedding receptions, bridal showers, birthday celebrations, and other special events of many kinds. The two-story facility is equipped with a kitchen, two restrooms, and tables and seats for up to 50 people. China, crystal, flatware, punch glasses and coffee urns are all included in the rental price of the event. Tablecloths (in either white or black) can be rented for an additional fee. At the Heard-Craig Center, you may have your garden wedding. A total of 150 people can be accommodated in the Garden. Guests will be greeted by a big white Gazebo (which will be used for the ceremony) and two white wedding arches, which will allow them to make a spectacular entry. An additional Secret Garden is located behind the Gazebo and is available for surprise engagements as well as Engagement Photo Sessions. In addition to hosting a wedding shower tea, the Heard-Craig Center for the Arts provides an ideal location for booking a private picture shoot in the magnificent parlor, the library, or the front porch.

Inspired by a trip to Tuscany, The Vineyard at Florence began as a working vineyard on the gently sloped hills of Florence, Texas, and grew into a boutique hotel and resort with a winery, restaurant, day spa, and private event spaces. Its main building, Villa Firenze, was originally built in New York State around 1850 using timber-frame construction, then carefully transported to the property and restored; the surrounding buildings were designed in the same old Italian style, with tile roofs and warm exterior tones. The resort produces its own wines on-site, earning gold, silver, and bronze medals at the Rodeo Uncorked San Antonio International Wine Competition from 2021 through 2024. For weddings and private events, the property offers a range of settings, from Ella Amore's expansive vineyard-view spaces for large gatherings to the more intimate Winemaker's Villa. TWO-STORY CLIMATE CONTROLLED BARN The 4,000-square-foot Dove Hollow Estate barn is framed with grey and white barn doors. Our bespoke iron and glass doors, which serve as the barn's main entrance and exit, are what set us apart. They're responsible for our barn's industrial/modern vibe, which we adore. The ambience for your wedding is set by 33 ft high ceilings with magnificent industrial teardrop glass chandeliers. Our barn also has 22 pane-less glass windows, some of which are almost 10 feet long, ensuring that your memories are completely captured. CHAPEL Our chapel features bench seating and can accommodate up to 200 people. It has a gloomy black exterior with gold hardware details and wide windows (to let your white outfit sparkle!). The interior is light and spacious, with industrial and modern design elements that nicely match the character of our barn welcoming area. The climate-controlled chapel is conveniently positioned next to the Dove Hollow Estate barn. Take in your indoor ceremony before heading over to the Barn for your reception! OUTDOOR CEREMONY SPACE If you want to have an outside ceremony, come out via our barn doors and meet your love under our oak tree. Electrical outlets are readily located throughout the venue for any DJ or ceremony needs. The seating for the outside event will be provided by our clients. The metal tolix chairs at Dove Hollow will only be used for reception. PRIVATE BRIDAL SUITE WITH BATHROOM Dove Hollow brides have their own place upstairs with a private bathroom, designed to make getting ready with your besties a calm experience. The suite features cosmetic stations, a full-length mirror, and lounge furniture, including a classic emerald green tufted sofa that is ideal for “getting ready” shots! GROOMS LOUNGE Grooms can unwind and prepare for the big day in their own lounge at Dove Hollow Estate, which is also located upstairs. Comfortable furniture, a full length mirror, and a vanity mirror provide a private spot for the groom and his groomsmen to unwind before the big day.

The 1859 Ashton Villa was the first of Galveston's great Broadway mansions, and today its elegantly restored interiors make a distinctive setting for weddings, receptions, and private celebrations. The Italianate residence anchors a piece of the island's architectural history while offering the practical amenities a modern event requires. At the heart of the villa is a spacious Grand Ballroom, added in the 1920s, which accommodates up to 250 guests standing or 200 seated with a dance floor. The Richardson Woman's Club is a beautiful rural house in the center of Richardson. It was founded in 1903. Both the Founders Hall and the Clubhouse, located on a beautifully forested acres, provide an ideal location for a variety of events including weddings, receptions, corporate meetings, luncheons, banquets, parties, and many other sorts of gatherings and gatherings. If you're having a buffet, Founders Hall, which is the bigger of the two venues, can accommodate 250 people, while seating 168 guests is possible in the smaller space. With a capacity of 102 people, the Clubhouse is the more intimate of the two venues on the property. The Brown Estate is a 20,000-square-foot, 14-room mansion set on 88 acres of pine and azalea grounds in Orange, Texas, complete with a lake, footbridges, and two outdoor fountains. Designed by Francis Warfield & Associates after the 1790s Linden of Natchez, the home was built for the Brown family between 1954 and 1956 and is now part of Lamar State College Orange. The estate's rooms include a glass-enclosed Solarium, formal dining rooms, a library, and conference rooms, together accommodating gatherings from small meetings up to a full-venue capacity of 300 guests. It hosts weddings, receptions, corporate meetings, banquets, and holiday events, with catering and event packages available. Surrounded by lawns used for outdoor ceremonies, the Brown Estate pairs its mid-century architecture and grounds with flexible indoor spaces for both formal and casual events.

The Queen Anne Victorian home that was built in 1899 and is known as the Ball-Eddleman-McFarland House is considered to be the most preserved of its kind in the region. This exquisite Victorian masterpiece of a little over 5,000 square feet was constructed by English architect Howard Messer for Galveston widow Mrs. George Ball (Sarah) and her son Frank in 1899. The home was built high on a hill overlooking the Trinity River. At a time when the typical cost of a dwelling was between $2,000 and $4,000, the construction of the house came to $38,000. The house has had just three different families live in it over its entire existence, and it has seen very few changes since it was first built. There are towers, gables, copper finials, a slate tile roof, and a porch made of red sandstone and marble on the late Victorian facade. The elegant interior has its original wood mantles, cornices, paneling, coffered ceilings, and parquet flooring. The McFarland House was declared as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 1979, as well as Fort Worth's second Historic and Cultural Landmark in 1980. In 1979, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places, and in 1980, it was certified as such by the state of Texas.

The Surrey House is a big historic residence that was constructed around 1910. It has withstood a century of tornadoes, fires, and other natural calamities to become one of the most well-known wedding venues in the North Dallas community. A complete renovation of the facility was carried out in 1998, and a partial renovation was carried out in 2011. Just a few blocks south of the old town center and the magnificently renovated county courthouse, you'll find this stunning residence in McKinney's historic area. Behind the main home is a big deck that overlooks the rear yard and a wedding gazebo that was expressly created for the occasion. Brides and bridesmaids can get ready for their special moments in the bridal cottage, which is located at the southern end of the backyard on the south side. It is possible to host events of up to 150 people in the Surrey House and its surrounding grounds. Alexander family and is an unusually well-proportioned design of English influenced architecture with a neo-classical influence that is still standing today. The Dallas Woman's Forum purchased the building in 1930, and it was refurbished and redecorated in 1967.
