In 2016, Paul Lewis of LTL Architecture oversaw a refurbishment and expansion that culminated in the opening of the brand-new Moody Rooftop. The 3,000 square foot Roof Deck of the Jones Center has a built-in bar, an optional 20' x 11' screen, bistro tables, a panoramic view of the city skyline, and open-air shelter from the elements. This area is perfect for seated dinners, movie screenings, and cocktail parties. On the second floor of the Jones Center, with a view of Congress Avenue, is the Community Room, a room with full A/V capabilities. This area is ideal for lectures, seminars, workshops, and press lounges because it can accommodate up to 70 people. The 3,300 square foot Moody Rooftop at the Jones Center features a lovely canopy and a breathtaking, expansive skyline vista. KMFA 89.5 is an independent public classical radio station in Austin, TX. KMFA serves approximately 100,000 listeners each week and features locally produced shows like Classical Austin, Early Music Now, and Icons of Broadway, as well as nationally distributed programming from Public Radio International, American Public Media, and National Public Radio. For 53 years, KMFA broadcast from a 6,000 square foot leased space. We now own our brand-new, purpose-built 18,000 square foot home. KMFA’s new space is engaging and educating future generations of music lovers on-air, online, and in person at our purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility on the shores of Lady Bird Lake in downtown Austin. The freestanding KMFA building is the centerpiece of The Hatchery, which has an “urban village” feel. In addition to KMFA, the community hub includes the Rebekah Baines Johnson (RBJ) Center, which provides affordable housing for seniors; retail; offices, and market rate rentals on its 17.8-acre site.

Since The Allan House began serving as a venue for events in 2000, thousands of weddings, corporate gatherings, and other events have taken place there. The house is at its most beautiful when people are gathered to support a worthy cause or celebrate with loved ones. For weddings and other special events of all types, The Allan House, a lovely location in the heart of Downtown Austin, is the perfect choice. The Victorian home, which has been expertly restored, has heart pine wood floors from the original construction, gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows, crystal chandeliers, modern furniture, and circular southern verandas. The mountain laurels, native flora, and heritage oaks that flank the expansive stone courtyard provide an intimate urban retreat. Glistening lights that come on when the sun sets increase the outdoor space's appeal. The use of a specially constructed clear, heated tent is included in the venue rental fee for the months of December, January, and February. The tent, which entirely encloses the outside event space, offers comforts for climate control during the harsh winter months while preserving the look and feel of an outdoor event. The Winter Tent kit includes exquisite white drapes, crystal lighting, and a full heating system. The bridal parties can prepare and pre-wedding photos can be taken in Suites 1 and 4. A property buyout is necessary for weddings with more than 40 guests. With a hotel takeover, the property can accommodate up to 85 visitors. The involvement of one of our Exclusive Caterers is necessary for weddings with more than 40 attendees. The wedding planner, who will serve as the main point of contact for the hotel, is a requirement. Every wedding must have a backup plan in place in the event of bad weather. The Hotel Saint Cecilia provides the ideal setting for your team retreat or group offsite with all of your important stakeholders. For planning and celebration, whether it's an annual meeting or client cocktail hour, our private venues offer a distinctive atmosphere. Our experienced culinary team at Hotel Saint Cecilia can serve private dinners and breakfasts for groups of 6 to 40. Up to 20 guests may dine at the Terrace Private Dining, and up to 40 guests may dine in the Piazza or Private Yard of Suite 4.
