Built in 1822, the Aldrich House is a National Historic Landmark located on the beautiful and historic East Side of Providence. The house was presented to the Rhode Island Historical Society in 1974 by the heirs of Winthrop W. Aldrich, a former Ambassador to Great Britain, and it also serves as the Rhode Island Historical Society headquarters, hosting RIHS special events and programs by appointment. Robert S. Burroughs hired noted Rhode Island architect John Holden Greene to build the house in 1821; it was completed in 1822, the same year the Rhode Island Historical Society was founded. The Aldrich family later shaped national history from this address: Nelson W. Aldrich rose to the U.S. Senate in 1881 and helped lay the groundwork for the Federal Reserve, his daughter Abby married John D. Rockefeller Jr., and their son, Vice President Nelson Rockefeller, was named after him. During World War II, another daughter, Lucy Aldrich, sheltered Scottish evacuee children at the house.

Sprout CoWorking is a coworking community set on the Rising Sun Mills campus, just outside downtown Providence, Rhode Island, accessible from Interstate 95 and Route 10 on Valley Street. Alongside its shared office space, Sprout offers the Riverside Venue, a 1,500-square-foot post-industrial-style event space with high ceilings and eight large windows that bring in natural light by day and warm, high-quality lighting at night. The Riverside Venue can be arranged in a variety of layouts using its 90 chairs and 15 large tables, and comes equipped with an AV system with HD projector, a PA system with two microphones, high-speed WiFi, and a state-of-the-art noise suppression system. Five ornate fireplaces and leaded, stained-glass windows remain throughout the property, and guestrooms and suites are decorated in Victorian and Empire style, several with gas or wood-burning fireplaces and jacuzzi tubs. Rhodes on the Pawtuxet is a historic event venue in the Pawtuxet Village section of Cranston, Rhode Island, tracing its roots to 1872, when Thomas H. Rhodes opened a small pavilion there for clambakes and canoe rentals along the Pawtuxet. The current building, designed by architect John O'Malley in the neoclassical revival style, opened in August 1915 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. Following a complete renovation in 2020, the venue's grand ballroom showcases more than 10,000 square feet of original hardwood floors beneath 21-foot ceilings, along with second-floor orchestra lofts and a three-tiered stage that once hosted bandleaders including Benny Goodman, Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, and Tony Bennett. In the foyer, a mural of Narragansett Bay by artist Hezekiah Dyer hangs above the main bar beneath a restored coffered ceiling, and an 1880 sculpture of Terpsichore, muse of dance, remains on display. Wedding rentals include use of the foyer and ballroom along with a renovated bridal suite, groom's room, and the Canoe Lounge, a VIP space that nods to the property's early canoe-rental days. St. Andrew's-by-the-Sea is a historic stone chapel on the New Hampshire Seacoast that has welcomed worshippers and celebrants since its first service on August 4, 1876. Designed by Walter T. Winslow and George H. Wetherell, the chapel is a distinguished example of rural stone architecture influenced by English parish church design, featuring a distinctive interior where wooden trusses arranged like an inverted boat support a heavy slate roof. The chapel houses an extraordinary collection of stained glass, including two Tiffany windows, a window by John LaFarge, and three windows originally displayed at the 1876 Philadelphia Exposition. In 2002, the chapel was designated to the National Register of Historic Places; its slate roof was fully restored in 2019 with support from a state historic preservation grant. Weddings and ceremonies are held from mid-May through mid-October, welcoming up to 150 guests. Episcopal priests and clergy from other Christian denominations may officiate, and the venue is open to couples of all backgrounds. The chapel's events team recommends booking well in advance to secure a date.
