Hachland Hill is a family-run bed & breakfast, dining inn, and retreat center set on 80 acres of wooded hills in Joelton, just outside Nashville and about 25 minutes from the airport. The property has operated since 1955, and its grounds carry a long history: the land was once home to Cherokee and Chickasaw communities drawn to its spring-fed waters and abundant wildlife, and in the early 1700s it became known as "Paradise Hills" after two French brothers named Paradise settled the area. Crystal springs still run through the property today, alongside sassafras, maple trees, and wild turkeys, deer, and foxes. The retreat center hosts overnight stays, family reunions, business retreats, weddings, and banquets across several gathering spaces, including the Main Lodge, Spring Creek, and the more-than-100-year-old Tobacco Barn. Its kitchen is led by chef Phila Hach, known for Southern, farm-to-table cuisine served on-site. For couples and groups planning a stay, Hachland Hill's overnight accommodations make it well suited to destination weddings and multi-day retreats, letting guests gather for a rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception all on the same property.

White Fence Farm
350 Paul McGlamery Rd, Trade, TN 37691, USA- Spaces for 100-500 Guests
- 1 Barn
- 1 Farm
White Fence Farm is a rustic wedding and event venue spread across 105 acres in Trade, Tennessee, a short drive from Boone, Blowing Rock, and Asheville, North Carolina. Denise and Fulton Lovin, longtime Boone residents, bought the farmhouse property in 2012 as a personal retreat; after a friend held a wedding there, the couple began developing it into a wedding venue and vacation rental, and the business has since grown to include two additional properties in downtown Boone. The farm's open, private setting includes bubbling springs, a fish pond, cow fields, personal hiking trails, wildflowers, and vintage farm equipment, all backed by tree-topped mountain views. At its center is a barn equipped with a bar and stage for live music, seating 80-100 guests and outfitted with electricity, water, and bathrooms; event tents, ceremony chairs, farm tables, and wooden benches are available to expand guest seating, and there's no cap on how many people can gather across the property. Couples can bring their own planners, caterers, and vendors, with packages ranging from full-service to affordable do-it-yourself options. On-site lodging includes a cozy 1940s farmhouse with a clawfoot tub, porch swing, and wood stove, plus vintage Airstream campers, an RV hookup, and unlimited tent camping space for guests staying the weekend.

Bluff Mountain Inn Barn Weddings
1887 Bluff Mountain Rd, Sevierville, TN 37876, USA- Spaces for 50-150 Guests
- 1 Barn
- 1 Outdoor
- 3 Total Spaces
Bluff Mountain Inn is a five-acre private estate in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, part of the Bluff Mountain Weddings collection, which has hosted weddings in the area for nearly 20 years. The property is built around a full-weekend destination wedding experience, giving couples exclusive access to the entire estate rather than a single room or day. The centerpiece is the Barn, a 2,400-square-foot covered space with open-air windows on three sides and sides that roll down for weather protection, making it suited to both indoor and outdoor-style receptions for up to 150 guests. It's outfitted with a serving station, chairs, tables, linens, audio equipment, outdoor heaters, ceiling fans, a vintage chandelier, and a stage area for a DJ or band. For ceremonies, the Country Chapel offers a more traditional setting: built in 2007 and modeled after the vintage chapels of Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains, it seats around 75 people in pews imported from a church in West Virginia. Smaller gatherings of 50 or fewer can use the climate-controlled Garden Reception Room, which opens through large doors onto a deck that can double as a dance floor. Beyond the event spaces, the estate includes a private bridal suite for hair and makeup, a groom's lounge with a bar, game room, and pool table, and on-site lodging with six bedrooms and six bathrooms so the wedding party can stay through the weekend.

Museum of Appalachia
2819 Andersonville Hwy, Clinton, TN 37716, USA- Spaces for 40-300 Guests
- 1 Barn
- 2 Event Spaces
- 1 Historic Space
The Museum of Appalachia sits on 60 pastoral acres in Clinton, Tennessee, where founder John Rice Irwin spent half a century gathering the everyday tools, tools, and stories of Southern Appalachia into a living pioneer village. Some three dozen historic log structures, including cabins, barns, churches, and schools, stand alongside gardens and free-range farm animals behind split-rail fences, and three exhibit buildings house over 250,000 folk-art, musical, and textile artifacts. The Museum became a Smithsonian Affiliate in 2007. That rolling, historic backdrop makes the grounds a distinctive setting for weddings and private events. Couples can choose from several outdoor ceremony and reception sites, among them the Grist Mill Field, the Cantilever Barn Field, and the Hall of Fame Lawn, or move indoors to a barn-style reception hall with a full-prep kitchen and antique serving bars. For smaller, more intimate ceremonies, the Museum's 19th century log chapel offers an authentic alternative to its larger outdoor fields. The venue also hosts corporate meetings, trade shows, and group outings against the same rustic backdrop.
