The La Jolla Woman's Club is a one-block walk from the beach in the heart of La Jolla Village. The club is a magical venue for any special occasion, with its exquisite private gardens, historic Irving Gill structure, and ocean view. Weddings, non-profit fundraisers, receptions, talks, banquets, holiday parties, life celebrations, retreats, and educational seminars are all held at the club. Weddings The ceremony garden in the south is beautiful, with colorful plantings and a decorative bridge. You can face the European style fountain or the old English oak tree in the front ceremonial garden. Floral balls or lanterns are commonly hung from the tree during rituals facing the tree. A third option is to face the ancient building's front doors, with the ceremony taking place in front of the famed arched arches. Our brides and grooms enjoy the use of our exclusive ladies and gentleman's lounges to relax with their attendants prior to the ceremony, whether it takes place on the adjacent seaside or within one of our gardens. Cocktail hour is popular on the North arbor-covered terrace, which has an ocean view. While guests enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, many couples prefer to walk to the beach for photos before returning to the club in time to make their spectacular entry. The main ballroom inside the clubhouse contains hardwood floors for dancing and a raised built-in stage for a band or DJ. Two adjacent parlors open into the ballroom and can be used to increase seating capacity or serve a buffet. Your guests will love taking a break outside on our covered veranda, on the ocean-view terrace, or wandering around the gardens, as you have exclusive use of the whole clubhouse and grounds for your wedding. Private Parties The stage of the club is ideal for lectures, discussions, auctions, and entertainment. Your off-site meeting can be held in the ballroom. The La Jolla Woman's Club has been a vital part of the La Jolla community since 1914. The club hosts a variety of private events, including weddings, non-profit fund-raising events, lectures, seminars, receptions, dinners, book launches, life celebrations, educational gatherings, and holiday parties, in addition to member and community service events. The club is a unique place for any special occasion because of its central La Jolla Village location and private grounds. Pre-lecture and pre-dinner parties are popular in the stunning private gardens, covered veranda, and ocean view patio terrace.

It’s our vision of Northern California as if it is a region in Italy, our connection to the region and our love for Italian culinary practices. The rustic, market-driven menu features handmade pasta, pizzas, antipasti, housemade salumi, meat and fish plus dishes from the Jewish-Roman heritage known as “Cucina Ebraica.” The restaurant itself inhabits a building with over 100 years of history in San Francisco and was originally built as a stable after the great fire in 1906 and before our takeover of the space, an auto body shop. Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery is a Mediterranean Villa in the heart of Livermore Valley Wine Country. Surrounded by vineyards, it is a romantic location for couples to say their vows. The venue features a Grand Salon reception room, large enough to accommodate up to 400 guests, but intimate for smaller guest counts. In addition to reception space, indoor and outdoor ceremony sites are available. Outdoors, couples may marry under a lush arbor within the venue's walled garden. Inside, couples may marry in the Amber Room, a gorgeous ceremony room that features a large limestone-carved fireplace, ambient lighting, and large wooden doors for a dramatic wedding party entrance. In addition to the venue itself, Casa Real also is the in-house caterer. Providing elegant, fine-dining meals for guests and serving wine from the next-door Ruby Hill Winery. Packages include all that is needed to host a meal for friends and family - tables, chairs, linens, place settings, the meal, 4.5-hour full open bar, and service.
