Historic Blenheim is a Civil War-era estate in the City of Fairfax, Virginia, operated by the City as an event venue and interpretive center. The centerpiece is a Greek-Revival/Georgian brick house built around 1859 for the Willcoxon family, where Federal soldiers left graffiti on the interior walls during the winter of 1862-63 — a detail that has made the property a stop on both the Virginia Civil War Trails and the Northern Virginia Graffiti Trail. The adjoining Civil War Interpretive Center houses a gallery with a full-sized replica of the house's attic and glass walls that look out over the historic grounds. Set on 12 secluded acres, the property combines that historic backdrop with modern event amenities, making it suited to weddings, anniversary parties, bar and bat mitzvahs, and meetings alike — even a routine meeting takes on a different character in the space. Events can move between an indoor multipurpose room and atrium/lobby and outdoor spaces including a pergola terrace and veranda porch, with additional tent locations available across the grounds for larger gatherings.

The Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Park is a national heritage site and event venue situated along the waterfront in historic Fells Point, Baltimore. Operated by the Living Classrooms Foundation, the campus occupies one of the city's oldest waterfront industrial buildings — a restored Sugar/Coffee House whose exposed brick walls and industrial wood beams anchor the character of every event held here. The site honors the legacy of Frederick Douglass and Isaac Myers, who founded the first African American-owned shipyard on this very stretch of harbor in 1868. Five distinct spaces accommodate gatherings of nearly any size, from intimate dinners to large outdoor celebrations. The Founders Room seats up to 200 and opens to the adjoining Bearman Gallery, while the open-air Promenade and Courtyard can welcome as many as 900 guests for a reception at the water's edge. Cardin Pier extends over the harbor, where working vessels including the tall ship Lady Maryland occasionally dock alongside an event in progress. Catering is provided by an exclusive roster of approved vendors, and all events benefit from four hours of setup time and two hours of breakdown included in the rental. The park's events team, led by Director of Events Natalie Halpern, coordinates private bookings for weddings, corporate gatherings, and special celebrations throughout the year.
