The Orcas Hotel hosts weddings, corporate gatherings, bat mitzvahs, and private celebrations of all kinds, from intimate dinner parties to full property buyouts, at the Orcas Island ferry landing in the San Juan Islands. Built between 1900 and 1904, the hotel has welcomed travelers for generations and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982; guests and event-goers step directly off the ferry onto the property, with no parking required. Events can be held in the Dining Room, featuring the Orcas Hotel Bar, for 20 to 40 guests depending on event style; in Big Blue, a cozy drawing room and wine bar for intimate gatherings of up to 12; or outdoors on the Lower and Upper Lawns, which host lunches, receptions, dinners, and small ceremonies. Crystal Mountain Resort sits in the Cascade Mountains near Enumclaw, Washington, framed by views of Mount Rainier, Mount Baker, Mount St. Helens, and Mount Adams. The resort hosts weddings and private events on its mountaintop grounds, with the Mt. Rainier Gondola carrying couples and guests nearly 2,500 vertical feet to Washington's highest-elevation ceremony location. Four venues anchor the resort's wedding program. The Mt. Rainier Platform is an outdoor ceremony space on the summit ridgeline, accommodating up to 200 guests with panoramic volcano views. Mountain Commons, a 25,000-square-foot open-concept lodge, pairs floor-to-ceiling windows and an indoor-outdoor bar with a patio that opens onto a meadow and surrounding foothills. Wild Ginger has occupied the corner of 3rd Avenue and Union Street in downtown Seattle, across from Benaroya Hall, since 2000, when founders Rick and Ann Yoder moved the restaurant from its original home below Pike Place Market into a building that once housed a vaudeville theatre. The space was designed by NBBJ, and its basement later became home to The Triple Door, the music and performance venue that opened in 2003. The kitchen draws on recipes gathered from Malaysia, Burma, Thailand, Singapore, and Hong Kong, served family style so guests share dishes across the table, alongside a wine program the restaurant treats with the same care as its food menu. For private dining, the downtown location offers the Lion Room, Dragon Room, Mezzanine Lounge, Union St. Dining Room, and a set of four configurable Mezzanine Rooms that combine to seat up to 64 guests.
