The Charles H. MacNider Art Museum occupies a landmark Tudor Revival building in Mason City, Iowa — originally built in 1920 as a private residence on a cliff overlooking Willow Creek, and donated to the city in 1964 by General and Mrs. Hanford MacNider to serve as a public arts center.
