Founded in 1927, Holston Hills Country Club is a historic private club set on 180 acres of rolling terrain along the Holston River, home to one of the most authentic Donald Ross golf course designs in the country. The Tudor-style clubhouse sits on a hill overlooking the course and the Great Smoky Mountains in the distance, giving the property a storied, old-world character that has hosted championship golf since Byron Nelson's win at the 1945 Knoxville Open. For weddings and private celebrations, the clubhouse's historic ballroom is the club's signature event space, with soaring 30-foot ceilings, exposed wood trusses, two oversized fireplaces, and a hardwood dance floor. A wraparound terrace just off the ballroom looks out over the fairways and mountains beyond, giving couples and guests a scenic backdrop for photographs and outdoor moments between indoor celebrations. Holston Hills' event team works with couples and hosts from initial planning through the final toast, and the club also hosts golf outings, corporate gatherings, and milestone celebrations such as birthdays, anniversaries, and showers. Chapel at the Park sits on a 3-acre estate bordering Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Gatlinburg, offering couples a choice of five distinct ceremony settings across a single wooded property. Vows can be exchanged in the chapel sanctuary, beside a two-story waterfall, beneath a white gazebo, along an arbor with mountain views, or in an enchanted forest setting decorated with a crystal chandelier — with the chapel serving as a covered backup should weather turn. The venue's all-inclusive packages bundle a minister, photographer, and wedding coordinator with the ceremony space itself, and range from short elopement bookings for the couple alone up to two-hour celebrations for as many as 60 family and friends. Silk florals, cakes, and on-site lodging options are built into several of the packages, letting couples handle much of the planning in a single booking. Midnight, the chapel's resident rescued black cat, is a familiar presence at ceremonies, often appearing for photos and greeting guests on the grounds.

Chickasaw State Park spans 1,435 acres of pine-hardwood forest in West Tennessee, built during the 1930s as one of the state's original New Deal-era parks. The Civilian Conservation Corps and Works Progress Administration developed the land, and the park takes its name from the Chickasaw Nation that once inhabited the region. Two lakes, Lake Placid and Lake LaJoie, anchor the park's recreation areas, and thirteen historic WPA cabins near Lake Placid remain in use today. For events, the park's centerpiece is the Sagamore Lodge, a stone-and-brick WPA-era building with two stone fireplaces and 1,446 square feet of space that seats up to 100 guests for weddings, family reunions, and meetings. Groups may bring in their own food, and the lodge is available year-round with central heat and air. The Group Lodge accommodates up to 36 people overnight in bunk-bed quarters with a kitchen and dining area that doubles as a meeting space, suited to retreats and organized outings. A large lakefront field on Lake Placid is also available for weddings and functions, along with three picnic pavilions that hold between 32 and 50 guests each.

Charlie Daniels Park is Mount Juliet's largest recreation destination, combining family amenities, athletic facilities, and outdoor gathering spaces on Charlie Daniels Parkway. For events, the park offers five pavilions and a gazebo available for rental year-round, with the pavilions wired for electricity and each fitted with a small grill. The Mount Juliet Community Center, which houses a basketball court and multipurpose rooms, is also located within the park.
