The Gatehouse Pavilion is one of the event spaces at Old Glory Ranch, a Texas Hill Country property along the Blanco River in Wimberley that has hosted weddings and events since 1997. Built for the do-it-yourself bride, the Pavilion suits smaller and more casual gatherings — wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, and private parties for guest counts of 100 or fewer, at a more budget-conscious scale than the ranch's larger facilities. The approximately 36-by-60-foot space is outfitted with 10 handcrafted cedar tables and benches, a small kitchenette, two powder rooms, and a sitting/dressing room, along with a stereo system and wireless microphone for toasts and announcements. A large hand-laid stone fireplace with stained glass sidelights anchors the room. Outside of event hours, the Pavilion can also serve as a green room for performers or a childcare space during larger events elsewhere on the property. Memory Lane Ranch & Lodge sits on ten acres of Texas Hill Country in Dripping Springs, shaded by oak trees more than a century old. The award-winning venue, established fifteen years ago, centers its ceremonies on a tall wooden pergola with a working water fountain backdrop, where white pew seating accommodates up to 250 guests. Nearby, the rustic cedar-and-stone reception hall seats up to 300 people and comes with tables and chairs, a small DJ stage, and flexible floor plans for weddings both intimate and large — it also doubles as the property's rain-plan backup. Couples can extend the celebration with on-site lodging for up to 17 overnight guests. 4 North Event Center is pleased to welcome you. Weddings, reunions, anniversaries, and birthday celebrations can all be held at the 4 North Event Center, which has four unique spaces. All of the spaces have been completely rebuilt, and there are numerous restrooms and a full caterer's kitchen available. The Creswell, Creamer, Guimarin, Markaverich, and Northridge families collaborated to refurbish the Comanche County square on the north side. Two of the three structures purchased were in a state of decay and were set to be demolished. The two-story building, which had been abandoned for nearly forty years, was in fantastic condition, and the top level was a time capsule of stunning early twentieth-century design. The Knights of Pythias chapter in Comanche County used to be housed in the two-story structure. Rathbone Hall, the main event area, is named after the Knights' founder, Justus H Rathbone. These structures have held local enterprises throughout history, including the Comanche Chief newspaper, an opera house, a hardware store, women's retail fashion, and a drug store. The corner location will be occupied by Stone Eagle Beer Garden, which is set to open in 2017. Wedding receptions, reunions, birthday parties, anniversaries, corporate dinners, quinceaneras, and other events are all held at this premier event facility.
