The Steamship Virginia V
Naval Reserve Armory, 860 Terry Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109, USA- Spaces for 100-150 Guests
- 1 Boat
Her inaugural journey, as a member of the Puget Sound Mosquito Fleet, took place on June 11, 1922, and she arrived in Seattle on June 14, 1922. The Mosquito Fleet was the world's first regional ferry system, linking coastal communities around South Puget Sound in the early twentieth century. It was through steamship that people were carried between the burgeoning port cities of Seattle and Tacoma, as well as produce and cattle from farms on Vashon Island. In the years 1922 to 1938, the VIRGINIA V served as the principal line between Seattle and Tacoma, operating via the West Pass (also known as "Colvos Passage"), which ran between Vashon Island and the Kitsap Peninsula. The S.S. VIRGINIA V is the final operating example of a steamer from the Puget Sound Mosquito Fleet, and it is still in service today. Because of her all-wood construction and steam engine, she has been designated as a National Historic Landmark ship. To learn more about a certain issue, select it from the list below. It is possible to charter the Virginia V as a venue for a variety of events including weddings, holiday parties, business events, birthdays, anniversaries, and other small gatherings. Whether you're hosting a party dockside at our homeport on Lake Union or taking your guests on a tour of Lake Washington and Puget Sound, our historic ship is the ideal location for any event. The ship's rich history and all-wood build immediately endear it to visitors. Any celebration will be more intimate because of the size. Excursions feature breathtaking views of Seattle's skyline and neighboring districts that are likely to leave a lasting effect on those who take part in them.

A corporation known as Art Marble established a business in 1921 with the goal of providing high-end granite and stone to consumers in the Pacific Northwest, which was the beginning of our restaurant's history. Our restaurant, which was once known as Art Marble Co., was inspired by the period, and we wanted to maintain the building in order to remember its past. One hundred years later, we are happy to keep the original name of one of South Lake Union's oldest structures. The classics and staples of the past are still important to us as we usher in a new millennium of history in the city of Seattle. We also provide our own interpretation of the tastes in order to provide you the greatest flavors we can find. Art Marble 21 is now the top South Lake Union treatment for the Seattle Freeze, and it's easy to see why. AM21 has developed a one-of-a-kind entertainment experience for all of Seattle's urban professionals, residents, and tourists by catering to their specific needs. Grab a pitcher of beer or one of our unique cocktails and walk into our 3,000 sq ft gaming area for everyday free-play, which includes pub-style activities such as shuffleboard, bocce ball, and pool tables, among other things. AM21's multi-level facility caters to the needs of both locals and visitors, whether they are business or pleasure tourists. However, Mason's Loft on the second floor, which has customizable floor plans as well as private rooms and a secondary audio visual system, is ideal for any size business or personal event. While our first floor Social Hall welcomes any casual guest for happy hour, to catch the latest sports game or simply to enjoy an after-work cocktail, Mason's Loft is ideal for any size business or personal event. - 1 space at this venue
Ray's Boathouse, a critically regarded restaurant on the water's edge, mirrors the clean lines and crisp corners of a classic Chris-Craft. Ray's Boathouse, one of Seattle's most iconic restaurants, elevates fresh Northwest seafood by offering elegantly crafted meals with accuracy. Everything we do revolves around water... From our vantage point atop Puget Sound, to our humble origins as a bait shop and boat rental, to our direct partnerships with fishermen who supply us with the freshest locally caught fish, plump oysters, and soft crab legs, we've come a long way. Ray's is a staple of Northwest cuisine and a symbol of quality. Bring your friends, family, and out-of-town visitors to Ray's Boathouse for a memorable dining experience, whether indoors or on our seasonal Boathouse patio. Our Café Fireside Room, located upstairs from Ray's Boathouse, is a terrific setting for your next group dining experience! The curtain can be left open to allow for a view of Puget Sound or covered to make your gathering more private. While this location does not have a direct view and does not have a western facing window, it is a pleasant compact space for group meals. Our Fireside Room has a capacity of 10 to 30 people.

Bateau
1040 E Union St, Seattle, WA 98122, USABateau, french for “boat,” is both a nod to our first restaurant, Boat Street Café, as well as an attempt to reimagine the American steak house around quality, sustainability and animal welfare. With the name About Bateau, which comes from the French word for "boat," we're paying homage to our first restaurant, Boat Street Café, while also attempting to reimagine the American steakhouse in the context of quality, sustainability, and animal welfare. Traditional cattle breeds, renowned for their flavor, are the centerpiece of Bateau's whole animal menu. These cattle breeds are selected and owned by Bateau and cared for by Pure Country, a Food Alliance certified ranch located in Moses Lake, Washington. All of our cows are raised in a humane manner, fed only grass, and, most importantly, finished only on pasture. Bateau's beef is dry aged for a minimum of 21 days before being butchered on site by Scott Johnson, the butcher for the restaurant. This is certainly not the quickest, easiest, or most cost-effective method of preparing beef, but we believe it is the most effective. Along with Chef Taylor Thornhill's inventive dishes, which frequently include foraged and fermented ingredients, specialty cuts are sold by the pound or by the quantity of meat available. In addition to steakhouse classics done right, such as twice-fried frites and buttery mashed potatoes, the menu includes iconic cocktails and an extensive bottle list. The service is warm and welcoming while also being refined. Many of the fixtures and furniture pieces from Boat Street Café have been repurposed in the dining room as a nod to the former location. The rough slate tables, which are now decades old, as well as the 'Jeffry' chalk drawing by artist Curtis Steiner, will be familiar to visitors. In order to express what is happening in our corner of the world and to pay homage to our beginnings at Boat Street Café, we are attempting to create something new and exciting at Bateau. Renee Erickson, the chef and proprietor

Built in 1906 by the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the space has hosted more than a century of celebrations beneath its ornate, embossed copper ceiling. A careful restoration preserved its original character — a rare sprung "floating" dance floor, original hardwood, period chandeliers and wall sconces, intricate tile work, and a grand staircase leading up to the ballroom — while adding modern amenities. Since 2021 it has been owned by twin sisters Lyndsay Lamb and Leslie Davis of Lamb & Co. The ballroom accommodates up to 300 guests, making it well suited to weddings, corporate events, fundraisers, proms, quinceañeras, and milestone celebrations.
