Pineland Farms is a working farm and event campus set on 200 acres across four Maine towns, with the heart of its developed land in New Gloucester. Owned by the nonprofit October Corporation and operated by Pineland Farms, Inc., the property spans fields, gardens, trails, and a central campus that has served as an agricultural and educational hub for the region. The Commons, situated at the center of campus, anchors the indoor event offerings with two divisible banquet rooms — the Mt. Washington Room and the Mt. Madison Room — together capable of hosting from intimate gatherings to receptions of more than 500 guests. Both rooms offer views of Mount Washington and the White Mountains, and the adjacent patio extends the space outdoors. A one-acre perennial garden across from the campus accommodates outdoor ceremonies and celebrations for up to 120 guests, set among more than 130 varieties of perennials, blueberry bushes, apple trees, and a seasonal display of 6,000 flowering annuals. Black Tie Catering & Events coordinates weddings and corporate events on property. The grounds include Five Chimneys Estate, which features a sprawling lawn suited for tented receptions and a three-tiered stone terrace for al fresco dining, as well as Edge Lake Farm, a restored wedding barn with French glass doors opening to the surrounding landscape. Province Lake Golf Club is an 18-hole golf and event destination set along the shores of Province Lake in Parsonsfield, Maine — right on the New Hampshire border. Founded in 1918 by Joseph Emery with a front nine designed by Lawrence Van Etten, the course added a modern back nine in 1988 designed by Brian Silva. The 2020 clubhouse features a wraparound veranda with views of the course and lake, and Province Lake is visible from fourteen of the eighteen holes. The property encompasses four connected venues — the golf club and clubhouse, the Carriage House Bistro & Tavern, Edgelake Farm, and the Wakefield Inn — making it a self-contained destination for weddings, golf outings, corporate retreats, and private celebrations. The Historical Society of Wells and Ogunquit stewards the history of two coastal Maine towns from a landmark 1862 Meetinghouse on Route 1 in Wells. The building — an intact example of Gothic Revival architecture listed on the National Register of Historic Places — has anchored the site since 1662 and houses the organization's museum and research library alongside a program of exhibits and community events. The Meetinghouse is available to rent for weddings and ceremonies. Its light-filled sanctuary accommodates 225 to 250 seated guests along two aisles, and the space retains original nineteenth-century features including wood floors, a vintage pump organ, chandeliers, and an electronic keyboard. Because the building operates as a historic property rather than a house of worship, there are no denomination restrictions. On-site parking in the driveway is supplemented by an adjacent lot.
