The local frasca plays a significant role in the Friulano culinary tradition. The McNichols Civic Center Building is a Greek Revival landmark in Denver's Civic Center Park, originally constructed as a Carnegie Library in 1910 and designed by Albert Ross of New York. The building sits within Civic Center Park's National Historic Landmark district, its Corinthian columns and iconic colonnade offering a civic backdrop rarely found at urban event venues.
