It is our passion to provide the ultimate wedding experience for our couples. The Sandlewood Estate features many exclusive amenities for you to enjoy during your special event. We pride ourselves in providing an unforgettable experience for you and your guests. To most, Sandlewood Manor is just a breathtakingly beautiful wedding and events venue on a picturesque private estate property. Yet, to owners Shawn and Lauren Sparks, the manor can best be described as an adventure in faith, perseverance and answered prayer. The journey began with a shared desire to work together as a husband and wife team. The couple began praying together for God’s direction and were inspired to create a ministry based wedding venue. Amazed that they were both separately given the same vision, they stepped out in faith and began researching the industry, as well as working with an architect to begin making the vision a reality. During the next two years, God placed incredibly talented and experienced industry professionals in their path who came on board and directed and mentored each step of the way. However, the search for land became very discouraging. More than once, having finally found an acceptable piece of property, an offer was made but quickly lost, as developers offered more money and an immediate closing. Lauren and Shawn continued to pray. “We just couldn’t find the land that we had envisioned for Sandlewood Manor. Then God led us to Tomball, Texas. We came upon the property at 22402 Holly Creek Trail and were amazed at what we saw. It was something we could have never imagined and far exceeded anything we had seen in our long search for the perfect land.” Over the last three years, Lauren and Shawn say they have learned to trust God completely. “We have seen the power of prayer, and while it can still be hard to trust sometimes, He has always proven faithful and His ways and timing are always perfect. His closed doors led to an incredible open door. We are so thankful that the other properties didn’t work out for us.” This twenty-seven acre property hosts three pre-existing houses: the Manor House, the Sandlewood Manor Offices and the Grooms Quarters. Other unique features include a tree-lined driveway, beautiful fountains, a one-acre pond with a walkout pier and gazebo, a pool and hot tub with an outdoor kitchen, an inviting lounge for parents and grandparents, three full suites for overnight accommodations, an in-house theater, acres of pasture enjoyed by Sandlewood’s beautiful horses, and a multi-century old oak tree and serene pecan orchard that are perfect options for outdoor ceremonies. Visitors have shared the owners’ sentiments; “The intricate details of the estate home are magnificent and the beauty and serenity here are awe-inspiring.” The estate will include a nearly 10,000 square-foot ballroom including a gourmet kitchen able to accommodate a maximum capacity of 400 people. Located just west of Telge and 2920, minutes from the Grand Parkway, the specific location is in reasonable driving distance from the majority of Houston and its outlying cities. Although the goal of Sandlewood Manor is to be the perfect event venue, it is also a place where newly married couples can find encouragement. Sandlewood’s mission is to support couples over their first year of marriage and to provide tools that will enable them to get past a majority of the hurdles that can cause bitterness and lead to divorce. “We are committed to praying for our couples. We feel the presence of God here daily and our desire is that everyone who steps foot on the Sandlewood Manor property will be touched by it as well.” CORPORATE EVENTS The Grand Ballroom at Sandlewood Manor can be transformed into an incredibly immersive conference hall tailored specifically for corporate events. Schneider Hall is nestled on Highway 71 South just a few miles outside of Columbus, Texas. Whether you’re looking for a charming place to hold your wedding, a fun place to have a family reunion, an out of town business meeting, or just a party for party’s sake everyone will be able to come because of our central location; we are within 2 hours of Houston, Austin, and San Antonio. It offers the perfect place to host any event. Schneider Hall is an original Texas Dancehall that operated throughout the 1930’s. It was run by the Schneider brothers; Fred, Jim, Willie, and Jake. They hosted regular dances at the hall and many town events including the 1939 Farmers League Rally Day which was reported to have had over 1000 people attend. The hall officially closed its doors in 1942, but still hosted events and parties throughout the 1950’s. The hall was used for hay storage until 2009 when the Burris family began renovations for their daughter’s wedding reception.

The Oxford, formerly known as Fourteen 86 Events, is now owned and managed by us. We have plans to remodel and modernize the venue, as well as be rebranded and relaunch in the fall. The ideal wedding venue for your special day, with room for 100 guests, it is ideal for a smaller wedding surrounded by your closest relatives and friends. You've found it if you're seeking for a versatile, family-friendly event space for any occasion. We welcome you to celebrate with us at The Oxford, whether it's for weddings, bridal and baby showers, graduations, retirements, or any other occasion you can think of. The entrance, terrace, bar area, and reception area will all get a makeover! You'll feel like you're walking into something special with the new pergola structure and bistro lighting at the entry from the parking lot. Any exposed wood or beams in the patio area will be painted white with gray accents and bistro lighting hung from them. During cocktail hour, your guests will be able to relax on the outside furniture. All pine wood in the main reception area, including the roof beams, has been dyed a grey tint. Fabric hanging with twinkle lights has been put to the ceiling, and new chandeliers and fresh paint will be placed to the walls. Our beautiful outside ceremony area will be given a complete make over with turf, solid bases for guest chairs and a backdrop overhaul. Our bridal cottage will eventually be painted on the outside but right now our focus is creating a beautiful and tranquil inside space where our brides can relax and be pampered with all her attendants!

We provide a luxurious venue for your spectacular event that is only minutes away from the city in the beautiful Cypress area. Wedding ceremonies and receptions, galas, private parties, corporate events, and a variety of other events can be held on the picturesque grounds. Lindsay Lakes has everything you're looking for, whether it's the serenity of the outdoors by the lake or the elegance of an elegantly lit chapel or lodge. We would like to extend an invitation to you to come and see our beautiful property. Appointments for private tours can be scheduled seven days a week, and walk-ins are also welcome. When you arrive, our sales team will give you a tour of the property and conduct a private consultation in order to create the ideal wedding package for you. The Bride's grand entrance will be through a beautiful ivory stone Chapel with hand-carved, breath-taking doors. Each side of the center aisle has 16 rows of cushioned pews, with a maximum capacity of 300 people. The sanctuary has a total capacity of 300 people. In addition to 19 beautiful windows and a projection screen, the Chapel has up lighting with a full spectrum of colors to choose from and an audio system. Four waterfalls, a windmill, a gazebo, and beautifully landscaped grounds can be found at the Lake. It has a capacity of one million gallons of water and is stocked with bass, perch, and koi for catch-and-release fishing purposes. The Lake also serves as an excellent backdrop for portrait sessions, with a variety of locations to choose from. The Lodge is our main event space, and it has a capacity of 300 people for large gatherings. Elegant chandeliers, spectacular lighting, two beautiful fireplaces, and spacious restrooms can be found throughout the Lodge. We have a high-definition projector and overhead screen available for your use. In addition, you will find surround sound throughout, custom color lighting to match your theme, disco lights, and lasers to enhance the enjoyment of your event. It is equipped with a beautiful Bridal Suite with wall length mirrors, an antique armoire, and a private entrance to the Bride's Garden, among other amenities. A family room and a mini kitchen are also included. There is a separate entrance to the Groom's room which contains leather sofas, a big screen TV, a poker table, a shuffleboard table, and a mini kitchen. Beginning your special day in our Bridal House is the ideal way to start your special day. The groom's dressing room is outfitted with a large flat-screen television, a poker table, and a pinball machine, among other amenities. With their own big screen TV for entertainment, parents and extended family members can relax and visit with one another in the living room area of the house. The bride and her bridesmaids will have the entire suite to themselves while taking in the view of her guests arriving for the lakeside wedding ceremony.
