The Middlebury Inn has anchored the village green in Middlebury, Vermont since 1827, when Nathan Wood opened it as the Vermont Hotel. Renamed the Addison House in 1852 and substantially renovated under Allen Calhoun beginning in 1897, the property reopened as The Middlebury Inn in 1927 and has operated continuously for more than 180 years. The adjacent Porter Mansion, an 1825 brick home with a curved staircase and marble fireplaces, joined the inn in 1941 and holds nine Victorian guest rooms, while twenty modern annex units followed in 1968. Set in the heart of the Champlain Valley overlooking Middlebury's town green, the inn pairs its historic character — antique grandfather clocks, carved mantelpieces, and Victorian-accented guest rooms — with amenities including Morgan's Tavern restaurant, Waterfalls Day Spa, a business center, and complimentary fitness center access. For events, the inn offers the Founder's Room, a high-ceiling ballroom with crown molding and a working marbled fireplace overlooking the town square, along with an outdoor courtyard nestled between two of its historic buildings — settings suited to weddings, elopements, corporate meetings, and private celebrations.

Founded in 1966 by Ralph DesLauriers, the resort has remained family-owned for nearly six decades and is now managed by four of his children alongside a dedicated team. For weddings and private events, Bolton Valley offers two mountain venues: The Ponds, a classic outdoor ceremony and reception site overlooking a spring-fed pond with panoramic mountain views, and Timberline Lodge, the resort's newer venue with a slope-side ceremony site, an attached patio, and a reception area with panoramic mountain views. Both venues include tables, chairs, linens, and a day-of wedding coordinator, and host ceremonies and receptions across all four seasons. Couples and guests can extend their celebration with the resort's amenities, including indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna and hot tub, scenic lift rides, mountain biking, disc golf, a golf simulator, tennis and pickleball courts, and skiing and snowboarding in winter.

    • Spaces for 200 Guests

Snow Farm Vineyard & Winery sits on an island in Lake Champlain in South Hero, Vermont, where the lake's micro-climate mirrors growing conditions found in Burgundy, France. Founded by the Lane family in the mid-1990s to keep their retired dairy farm in agricultural use, it became Vermont's first commercial vineyard, with plantings established in 1997. The estate now spans more than 100 preserved acres and includes a tasting room, a distillery producing gin, grappa, and fruit liqueurs, and a small-batch winery known for cool-climate wines like Seyval Blanc, Riesling, and its signature Vidal Blanc Ice Wine. For weddings, bridal showers, and rehearsal dinners, couples can choose a ceremony atop Fox Hill among the grapevines or along the shores of Lake Champlain, with the surrounding farmland and lake views as a backdrop. Snow Farm provides a tent for receptions of up to 200 guests, along with tables, chairs, and bar service, and offers on-site bed and breakfast lodging for guests staying the weekend. As a small, family-run operation, the team works closely with each couple to plan the day personally rather than following a set formula. Beyond weddings, Snow Farm hosts a Summer Concert Series, the Music in the Vineyard series, and seasonal gatherings like its Spirit Festival and Harvest Festival, drawing visitors to the vineyard throughout the year.

The estate offers three outdoor ceremony sites: a front lawn framed by a built-in timber arch with the Green Mountains as a backdrop, a west lawn set closest to the property's waterfall, and a more secluded backyard site anchored by an old stone structure. Couples and their wedding parties can also stay on site — the Inn and the Stone House provide boutique lodging for getting ready, rehearsal dinners, and morning-after brunches, with exclusive access to the property throughout the wedding weekend.
