Stallion Oaks Ranch is a 238-acre event and retreat property nestled among ancient oaks, seasonal creeks, and wildlife in Descanso, California, about 45 minutes from downtown San Diego. Set against the natural backdrop of the Cleveland National Forest foothills, the ranch offers a secluded yet accessible setting for weddings, retreats, community gatherings, and camping getaways. The property's signature event space is a large rustic meeting hall reminiscent of a classic barn, centered around a massive stone fireplace and accommodating up to 200 guests for banquet-style receptions or 200 in theater-style seating. The Victorian Gazebo, located in the heart of the Garden, is the perfect background for your special occasion, with a stunning big grass flanked by natural borders of flowing plants and mature trees and the Victorian Gazebo. Daytime ceremonies and evening parties are both possible on the Victorian Gazebo Lawn. An intimate setting surrounded by thick ferns and trees and protected by a gorgeous original adobe and tile wall. The old Larabee House, which opens onto the Walled Garden, adds to the mood and is accessible for daytime weddings, parties, showers, anniversary celebrations, memorials, nighttime wedding ceremonies, and evening cocktail receptions. You'll be transported back to a simpler time six times per year with our club selections, when the taste of fine wine was one of the most sought-after pleasures of the senses. Members will also be invited to exclusive events held on the historic Rancho Guejito, which will be open only to club members. Our Tasting Room Our tasting room is located in the historic Rockwood Farmhouse (built in 1885), in the heart of the San Pasqual Valley wine region, just minutes from the San Diego Safari Park. We provide hayride tours through the vineyards and orchards, as well as live music, to enhance the experience of tasting our wines at our facility. Also pet- and child-friendly, our tasting room provides shade in the garden as well as indoor air conditioning during the hot summer months. A customs agent named Jose Maria Orozco boarded his horse-drawn wagon on September 20, 1845, and headed north from Old Town San Diego to what is now Valley Center to claim a piece of land covering three square leagues, or approximately 13,298 acres, in the area that is now Valley Center. The Garden is a lovely setting for weddings and small gatherings. The Garden Weddings & Events is an outdoor venue located in one of Escondido's most historic homes. Built in 1910, the house was famed for its gardens and social gatherings. We provide a boutique experience in a pleasant and private setting where tales are born and lasting memories are formed. A huge lawn area is bordered by roses and other floral plants, and the garden is shaded by gorgeous evergreen trees. The gardens and gazebo are illuminated by strands of market lights and old street lights, providing an outstanding evening ambience. The property and our service are very important to our team.
