The Management Education Center (MEC) is a full-service conference center on 25-plus acres in Troy, Michigan, roughly 20 miles north of Detroit. Dedicated in 1975 through the generosity of Southeast Michigan's major automotive and industrial leaders — including Chrysler, General Motors, and Ford Motor Company — the center was donated to Michigan State University's Eli Broad College of Business and has served the regional business community ever since. The facility offers more than 25,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor event space across a range of settings: a 385-seat auditorium with theater-style fixed seating and a private projection booth, two tiered amphitheaters accommodating up to 100 guests each, formal dining rooms for up to 304 guests that can be subdivided into three separate sections, and an outdoor North Patio suited to receptions and vehicle displays. The Iroquois Club is an event venue established in 2006 in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, designed around a philosophy of refined, rustic elegance. Each paint color, nook, and featured artwork has been hand-selected to blend natural elements with finished materials. Petruzzello's Banquet and Conference Center is a family-owned venue in Troy, Michigan, in operation for more than 40 years. The recently remodeled facility houses multiple ballrooms and event spaces that accommodate groups from 80 to 700 guests for social events, and more than 1,000 in a theater-style layout. The Grand Ballroom, suited to weddings, galas, and corporate events, seats 600 or more guests beneath ornate chandeliers with an expansive dance floor. The Champion Motor Speedway joined a small group of contemporary and exciting road courses in America on June 1st, 2016. As if it has been there for ages, the Champion Motor Speedway snakes its way across the M1 Concourse site. The developers closely collaborated with renowned track designer Martyn Thake to take advantage of the site's distinctive topography. Founded in 1953, the campus has grown from a cut-flower greenhouse into a destination that pairs a working nursery, tropical greenhouse, and full-service floral studio with several distinct event spaces. The Venues at Goldner Walsh accommodate weddings, showers, corporate parties, and other private gatherings. The Cedar House hosts receptions and parties for up to 100 guests, while the Gardens & Amphitheater extends across nine acres of outdoor grounds for ceremonies and receptions of up to 200.
