Beech Hill Barn is a truly unique venue for wedding celebrations spring through autumn. Our two extraordinary barns, nestled on over 200 acres, offer endless possibilities. Nestled on a private and pristine hilltop in Pittston, Maine, the property features a variety of spaces for your celebration, including the Barn, Carriage Barn, Woodland Cove ceremony site, East Field, and the Meadow. Located on twenty private oceanfront acres bordered by more than 100 acres of state preserve, the estate boasts incredible views, lush landscaping, and recreational opportunities. The average number of guests at a celebration during the season is 50-100. Despite the fact that we have event space, parking, and public restrooms for much larger events, our standard capacity and pricing are based on events with 100 or fewer guests. In season, with advance approval, a Surplus Guest Fee allows for events with more than 101 guests up to a maximum of 150 guests in order to compensate for the additional staffing and wear on the estate caused by larger events. During the off-season, we can accommodate groups as small as 20 people. Our Earlier Years Thousands of families have traveled to midcoast Maine since the 1800s, drawn by the tranquility and restorative effects of the sound of the waves lapping at the shore, as well as the intoxicating scent of beach roses and pine needles floating on the salty breeze.
