Heritage Square Museum sits on approximately 10 acres in the Arroyo Seco, just north of Downtown Los Angeles off the 110 freeway, and is home to eight landmark Victorian-era structures rescued from demolition across Los Angeles. The buildings, constructed during the late 1800s and early 1900s, represent the everyday architecture and culture of early Southern California — from the ornate William Perry Mansion to the Longfellow-Hastings Octagon House. As a private event venue, Heritage Square specializes in boutique weddings of 50 guests or fewer, private celebrations, corporate gatherings, and film and photography productions. Ceremonies and receptions unfold on landscaped grounds surrounded by historic architecture, offering a one-of-a-kind backdrop rarely found in the city. It's like receiving an unexpected surprise when you visit the Los Angeles River Center and Gardens. This stunning event property, only minutes from downtown Los Angeles and right over the Los Angeles River, will fit many a bride's fantasy wedding destination. The Center is a well-kept secret, concealed behind ivy-covered walls. The entry is marked by a broad, circular brick driveway with a spreading ficus tree in the center, and the first look of the fountains, flowers, and serenity within is through the arched, wrought-iron gate. The courtyard at the entrance is a lovely way to begin your visit to the Center, but the carved wooden doors in the back soon draw you into the Main Courtyard, which is the perfect setting for a special occasion. The arcaded terraces of the Center's buildings surround the multi-level plaza on three sides. The breeze rustles the pepper trees, as roses, agapanthus, and daylilies soak up the sun in the beds. A three-tiered fountain sits in the midst of a tiled reflecting pool, surrounded on all four sides by terra cotta pots filled with flowers. An arched gateway in a stucco wall leads from the Main courtyard to the San Fernando Courtyard, another spacious patio with an adjoining lawn. This patio is dappled in shade and has a calm dignity thanks to a great old ficus tree. The lawn, which is surrounded by tree-lined walls, is frequently utilized for ceremonies, while the patio can be used for meals or dancing. The San Fernando Courtyard is its own private little universe, bordered on one side by the California Building and on the other three by high walls. The California Building is used for indoor events and major meetings. A Mexican-tile floor, arched windows, and a large, peaked roof flood the main event space with natural light. Tables and chairs are arranged beneath the skylight, with additional sitting accessible on the second-story walkway that circles the area. Smaller meetings and conferences can be held in the Los Feliz Room.

The Villa Del Sol is a Spanish Colonial historic landmark nestled in the heart of downtown Fullerton, California. Originally built in 1923 as the California Hotel — designed by local architects Frank Benchley and Eugene Durfee and constructed at a cost of $136,000 — the property has been transformed into a mixed-use destination anchored by a charming al fresco courtyard that serves as its signature event space. The courtyard welcomes up to 200 guests for outdoor weddings, receptions, quinceañeras, corporate gatherings, and birthday celebrations. Beautifully landscaped with islands of palm trees and flowering greenery, the space features a Spanish-tiled bubbling fountain, ivy-covered breezeways, graceful archways, wrought-iron railings, and towering turrets — creating a naturally photogenic setting throughout. A second-floor terrace provides an elegant setting for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, while European accent lighting sets the ambiance for evening events. Events are scheduled from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with music options including live band, DJ, Mariachi, and acoustic performers. Storrier Stearns Japanese Garden is a two-acre historic garden estate in a residential neighborhood of Pasadena, California, available for private events and special celebrations. Designed by renowned landscape architect Kinzuchi Fujii between 1935 and 1940 for Charles and Ellamae Storrier Stearns, it is recognized as the only intact example in the United States of a major Japanese-style garden created for a private residence in the years leading up to World War II. Following a comprehensive restoration completed in 2013 under the direction of Dr. Takeo Uesugi of Cal Poly Pomona, the property was reimagined as a shared space for the community. The garden features a hill-and-pond stroll garden with a 25-foot waterfall, an arched wooden bridge, Japanese granite statuary, and a formal teahouse overlooking the pond — all framed by mature sycamore, oak, and Japanese maple trees. Private event rental provides exclusive use of the entire property, accommodating up to 120 seated guests or 150 for standing receptions. The intimate teahouse is available for smaller gatherings of up to 15. The setting has hosted weddings, corporate retreats, holiday parties, concerts, recitals, and celebrations of life.

The Jones sisters, Leslie and LeAnn, like to spend a typical night out in Los Angeles at some of their favorite restaurants, where they can enjoy delicious food, excellent wine, and the company of good friends. Leslie, a luxury wedding planner, and LeAnn, an attorney, had grown tired of having to travel outside of their neighborhood in order to partake in activities such as eating and drinking delicious food and wine. The sisters came up with the idea to launch 1010 Wine and Events based on Leslie's prior experience in the hospitality industry and LeAnn's knowledge of wine as well as her passion for the beverage. In the middle of Leslie and LeAnn's hometown of Inglewood, California, which is also their current home, you'll find the upscale wine bar known as 1010 Wine. Leslie and LeAnn both grew up in this city. The City of Champions is home to only one wine bar, and that establishment is 1010 Wine. More than a space to work, it’s a space to create. STUDIO A The main stage of the show. There are no limits to what you can create in Studio A, as only your imagination is the limit. STUDIO B is a three-wall, two-corner circular space with a 12′ grid. Studio B is pre-lit and has been designed to be used for e-commerce. STUDIO C (Creative Studio) The infinity wall is a wall that goes on forever. It is a two wall white cyclorama that can be used for a variety of projects such as full body fashion shoots, laydowns, tabletop photography, and everything in between.
