Greenbrier Farms is a second-generation family-owned farm and event venue in Upstate South Carolina, run by Chad and Amy Bishop since their arrival in 2009. Established in 1988, the working farm has grown into a wedding and event destination with more than 16 years of hosting experience, set among ponds, pastures, and open farmland just 15 minutes from downtown Greenville. Couples can choose from several ceremony settings on the property, including the iconic Wedding Tree, a tranquil waterfront area, and the climate-controlled Event Barn, which accommodates up to 200 guests and includes two bridal suites, a wrap-around covered porch overlooking the water, and a full commercial kitchen. Beyond weddings, the farm hosts corporate gatherings, family reunions, birthday celebrations, and fundraising events, with both indoor and outdoor space available. Larkin's Sawmill is a historic event venue in Greenville, South Carolina's North Main area, just minutes from downtown. Housed in a restored century-old sawmill, the space retains original architectural character — exposed brick walls, polished hardwood floors, a stone fireplace, a rustic sawdust silo, and strung Edison bulbs — paired with modern amenities for weddings, corporate events, and celebrations. The venue offers two indoor spaces, the Main Room and the Patio Room, which can be booked separately or combined for larger events. Housed in downtown Greenville's historic Huguenot Mill, the Huguenot Mill Loft at the Peace Center occupies the upper level of a textile mill built in 1882, one of the city's oldest structures. The 8,400-square-foot loft retains its original wood plank flooring, beam ceilings, exposed brick, and vintage architectural hardware, giving the space the feel of a SoHo artist loft while overlooking the Reedy River. The open floor plan and natural light from the mill's original windows suit weddings, corporate events, presentations, and large cocktail receptions alike, with room for up to 400 guests standing or 300 seated. An on-site prep area supports catered food service, and the space is ADA compliant with additional audio/visual and lighting options available for events. The loft sits within the Huguenot Mill building alongside the Freeman Conference Room and Ramsaur Studio on the ground level, part of the Peace Center's broader campus of event spaces in downtown Greenville.

The Children's Museum of the Upstate occupies more than 80,000 square feet across three floors in downtown Greenville, South Carolina, with 30 exhibits built around hands-on, play-based learning for children ages 0-12. The museum opened in 2009 out of one mother's vision for a world-class play-based learning facility in the Upstate, and in 2014 became the first children's museum named a Smithsonian Affiliate. The Big Idea Conference Room, on the third floor, suits staff retreats, board meetings, and small receptions, with a screen for presentations. Be Anything Place, a round first-floor room with a projector and screen, accommodates large meetings or small receptions. Oxford Farm is a 180-acre working horse farm in Anderson, South Carolina, set among rolling pastures and wooded trails just minutes from Interstate 85. In addition to boarding, lessons, and overnight accommodations for horses and their owners, the farm hosts weddings and special events in its rustic outdoor setting. Oxford Farm welcomes weddings, bridal and baby showers, family reunions, company functions, conferences, team-building gatherings, and music festivals, with capacity for up to 200 guests. Event packages range from a simple day-use rental to a full-service option that includes an on-site wedding professional who helps plan and budget the event and directs the rehearsal, ceremony, and reception. Couples may also schedule photo sessions on the grounds ahead of their ceremony date at no extra charge, with the farm's horses sometimes wandering into the shots. The farm is also home to Mane Solutions, a therapeutic riding program, and offers on-site lodging through the Guest Cottage and the Lodge for guests attending an event or traveling through the area.

Set on a 44-acre working farm in Clemson, South Carolina, Sleepy Hollow Barn & Plantation centers on the J.C. Stribling Barn, built in the 1890s as one of the first brick barns in the state and now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The barn's rare bank-barn construction, decorative brick latticework, and jerkinhead roof give the space its distinct rustic-elegant character, with original timber beams and French-pressed brickwork preserved throughout. Weddings, corporate events, and family gatherings take place in the barn and on the adjoining Wedding Green, a garden ceremony space framed by ancient oaks and rolling pasture, with the historic structure as a backdrop. Both rental packages include full access to the barn and Wedding Green, tables and chairs for up to 150 guests, use of the bridal suite and groomsmen's changing areas, and an on-site venue manager during event hours. The barn is heated and air-conditioned year-round, and couples are free to bring in their own licensed caterer and vendors.

Taylors, South Carolina has a 16-acre English Conservatory, which is about 25 minutes from Main Street Greenville, South Carolina. Holly Tree Country Club sits in Simpsonville, South Carolina, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, with an 18-hole golf course designed by George Cobb woven through the property. Kresge Hall, the largest of the venues, overlooks Lake Hartwell with a stone fireplace and a wrap-around porch, while Cannon Chapel Pavilion offers a covered, string-lit gathering space within the Clemson Forest. Smaller venues like the Deck at Michael's Mooring and the Hopa Cabana provide more intimate lakeside settings for rehearsal dinners and gatherings.
